Brilliant hotel for an even better price! Very well situated close to the town centre (but far enough away to avoid drunks passing by at night) as was only a 15 minute walk to the main high street. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and kids eating free is always a bonus!

Always great experience at premier inn. Lovely, clean and friendly staff. Perfect location within walking distance of the town. Food was great and the whole atmosphere was nice and warm. I was greeted by all the members of staff.

Car park really hard to locate and everyone we saw said the same thing! Added 40 mins onto some of our parties journey as traffic so bad and all one way! Reception said they wanted to add a sign but not their property - maybe a note on the website! 

We stayed here for its proximity to Maidstone town as we wanted to visit the town's pubs and restaurants, to celebrate my wife's 50th over our two night stay.
The hotel is quite basic but nonetheless, value for money and comfortable. The service from the staff was excellent as was the meal deal we got, which included evening meal, a drink and breakfast for only £25. The hotel was being done up on the outside when we got there, but we weren't troubled by too much noise from workmen. Car parking is £7 a day but on the plus side, we had no trouble getting a space.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We normally go to Village hotels as we like the facilities they offer, but this hotel was in walking distance of Maidstone town center (unlike the Village in Maidstone) which is what we wanted.
Yes it is no frills, but if you just want somewhere to put your head down for the night and have a lovely evening meal, for not a lot of money, within walking distance of the town, then this fits the bill.

The Staff are very friendly and attentive at the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a great stay at the hotel. Will book this hotel and visit again in the future. Thank you for providing excellent customer service during our stay

Ugly building outside but inside a completely different case...friendly considerate staff great food n drink.
All in all a great place to spend some time in a great environment.

I found this hotel perfect for my needs. Quiet, clean room with a comfortable bed.
The whole experience went without a hitch. 
I came by train, the local station is just a few minutes walk.

The hotel was clean, room was big and comfortable and the staff were helpful. I had no complaints about this hotel (except the parking costs!) but I’m not sure this is controlled by Premier Inn themselves. Good hotel, 10-15 minute walk from town (If you power walked 😂) and a good place to rest your head.

A great hotel - but difficult to find, with awkward access if you're driving.  The signage is, well, absent!  Without a satnav I'd've been scuppered.  It took several laps of the block to find my way in.

I really can't fault the staff, who are always friendly and capable, or the room, which has all the essentials, is clean, and quite honestly one of the comfiest beds I've had at any hotel.

The evening meal options are also varied, tasty and good value for money. Especially the £25 deal which gets you a 2 course meal and a drink in the evening, then an access to their unlimited breakfast buffet in the morning. Although the breakfast is perhaps the hotel's only real letdown and the sole reason why I've deducted a star from what would have otherwise been a 5 star review. Unlimited coffee, tea and a variety of cold drinks are great and the fruit and cereals looked fine. The problem is the hot food, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon, both of which I found dry and lukewarm due, I'm sure, to them having been sat under a hot lamp for too long.

On the whole, a great hotel all round, especially for the price, but perhaps skip the breakfast

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive about my stay over Christmas, but was very happy with what I found. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and fresh with comfort beds & the breakfast was plentiful. Overall for what I paid, very good value. Thank you Rockyhill Maidstone team. 

Pleasantly surprised

Good value hotel with nice staff

Clean, well proportioned rooms.  Nothing too much trouble, polite, helpful staff and their little attention to details were noticeable.  Only issue we had was parking on site.  Paid on arrival for 2 days and it said “first come, first served”, presumably buying a ticket means you are first come if you were served a ticket but this is not the case so on return one late night we had to find alternative parking which on a one way system in an area you don’t know late at night was not ideal.  They just sell and sell the tickets regardless of how many spaces versus demand.  This is an exterior company who manage this so it’s obviously staff at premier inn given grief over something they have no control over.  Shame!

Excellent service

Hotel was having building work, and when I arrived after dark I missed the car park entrance due to scaffolding. However carpark good and easy to pay, the kids had a great meal choice and the room was spacious with an excellent bath.
