Maroulla and Alan took us in on a last minute booking we arrived dripping wet with our bikes that they very kindly stored in their garage. It was warm and comfortable. We would highly recommend it lotta of choice for breakfast too.

Very Good

Three of us stayed at Homelea in the first week of July 2021. We could not have found anywhere better. The hosts, Alan & Maroulla, were friendly and helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and the hot water is always very hot. Alan's "full English" is to die for together with endless tea and coffee.  My mobility scooter battery needed charging every night and Alan willingly took responsibility with no cost to us.   I would unhesitatingly recommend Homelea to anyone.

Wonderful hosts

The great thing about Homelea is that it never changes! Having finished a walk in 2019 at Lowestoft and been so well looked after by Alan an Maroualla (apologies for spelling) we arrived back for the next stage and stayed again. We were so welcomed and so well looked after by them. The breakfast is a must...freshly cooked. Please visit...

A fantastic friendly guest house with great food ,

I stayed at Homelea for a couple of nights recently and I was very pleased with everything at the guesthouse. I had a warm welcome, the bedroom was cosy and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was delicious,.
The Homelea is on the sea front and a 10 minute walk from the railway station.
I would definitely stay at Homelea in the future.

Very Good B&B

Have recently returned from our third visit to Homelea and what a pleasure it was once again. Alan and Maroulla are perfect hosts and Alan's breakfasts are wonderful - good quality ingredients, always hot and perfectly cooked. We stayed in room 4, which is the first time we've had a front facing room, and it was lovely to sit by the window with a cuppa first thing in the morning and look out at the sea. We had glorious weather whilst we were there which was a bonus!! Looking forward already to our next stay there.

Short summer break

Will definitely be staying here again. Very clean, very good food. Perfect location. Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Bed was very comfortable especially loved the pillows. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent

We had such a warm welcome from the guest house owners upon arrival, and led up to a room with a fabulous sea view. The decor is bright with a retro edge, the bed fabulously comfortable, and I loved the furnishings. The guest house is located right by the sea front, with the beaches, restaurants and other local sights within easy walking distance. There is free street parking just outside the property, which we found no struggle to find a space in. It might be different story during the height of summer, but just perfect for us in June. There were plenty of supplies in the room: tea/coffee and decent quality shampoo/conditioner. We opted to have breakfast at the guest house in the morning, and enjoyed it greatly. Plentiful offers of drinks flowed forth! We had a nice chat with the owners and only wish we could have spent another night there to explore more and make use of the insider knowledge. Would definitely recommend Homelea to couples travelling to the seaside, and ramblers who want to explore some of the lovely local walks.
