We stayed at this resort for two weeks and it was amazing five minutes to the beach from our villa which was great for the children. We took our own paddle board and children had a great time in the sea. People from the beach cafe were lovely and friendly aswell as helpful when we needed them to be. Villa we stayed at was 100% home from home with everything you needed right at your finger tips,patio was large and we made use of this by having outside dining experiences as a family. We walked into looe from the resort which was about 20 minutes depending on how mobile you were and the view was breathtaking.
We would definitely recommend this resort to others as we had an amazing holiday 😀

Family holiday

We stayed for week in sea view apartment was lucky as had a bottom one so only a few steps to it. Apartment was clean on arrival and had everything we needed, plenty of space for a family of 4.
Beach only a minute walk away and sea was brilliant for kids as was fairly shallow for a good long way out. 
Kids enjoyed it that much on leaving asked if we could go back!!

Brilliant family holiday

We selected to stay in Sea Salt villa due to lower amount of step, my missus is semi disabled and struggles with walking, but managed the steps to the villa. The villa has everything you need, two double beds and all items needed to make a full Sunday lunch. Walking to Looe was an Intermediate walk but amazing. All the views are amazing, the view from the villa is a sea view and there is a large sun bathing area. 

Sea Salt Hillside Villa

First time here Beach is great all day ,rock pooling swimming paddle boarding ect great fun ,
Food expensive in the only cafe there make sure you get your shopping in . Staying in a bungalow near the beach great bungalow, some are bungalow near the car park are dilapidated and need knocking down but didn't affect our stay will be coming again definitely 😀 

Millendreath beach resort 

Spent a week here in cabin no 60 end of July , after reading previous reviews was not really looking forward to stay - however on arrival pleasantly surprised.
Great location 2 mins walk from beach ,apartment was perfect for our requirements , clean  and well positioned.

Great stay - even though it was wet week

Great location and Chalet we rented via Hoeseasons was clean and well presented.
However, a number of issues during our stay were frustrating hence the downgraded score.
The chalet was lacking some basic equipment, no oven gloves or spatula provided and just enough cutlery and plates for each person. So constantly washing up all the time. 
You get a broom but no dust pan and brush to pick up any mess. 

Concerning was the brown tinge to the hot water from the taps!

Wifi was not working and no phone signal on site either. 

Nice chalet but lacking those small touches. 

We have visited this resort twice both in 2021 and 2022, both times we had a blast but some key points let the place down. The first point being the price increase from 1 year to the next, we were told this was because Hoeseasons had taken over but the location is so good we excepted it and rebooked. On our second visit we were disappointed to see how much the resort had declined in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. There was broken furniture around the beach area and the toilets at the local cafe we’re terrible. There was also a huge sinking hole in the ladies toilets. To pay a price increase to return and find this was disappointing. You cannot fault the location of the place with the beach on the door step and bar, cafe all at your fingertips, but to make guests want to keep coming back it needs to be maintained. For the amount of money paid too I would have liked to see a small basic welcome pack instead of just 1 roll of toilet roll. 
We have booked somewhere else next year instead.

Resort needs some maintenance!

Overall a great stay, the weather 100% made it perfect for us 
We was villa 125 and it’s at the top of a hill and up very steep stairs it was hard work with all the beach stuff shopping and suitcases etc..

The beach was lovely just make sure you have swim shoes on we was advised before we went there was a lot of jelly fish 

The water sports on the beach was really good very friendly family and happy to help.

The restaurant on the beach please do not use the staff was horrible and useless the queues was so long and food was not cooked Properly and there was alot of complaints!!!!

Overall good but!!!

My partner privately booked a bungalow on the ground tier. The accommodation was nicely presented, very nice bright yellow accessories. My only criticism is that it could do with a freshen up as a bit grubby in places. However, it had everything we needed and there was a lovely decked area at the rear. We could see the sea and it was a 1 minute walk to the beach, which was fabulous. 
Unfortunately, the resort is seriously lacking.  In front of our bungalow are rows of derelict and dilapidated bungalows that looked like druggy squats! I understand, from the owner of our bungalow, that they have been like that for years following a particularly bad storm and high tide flooded the area and they suffered subsidence. This situation makes the whole resort look like a crack den! Surely it’s possible to do something about the absent owners? 
The bar that overlooks the beach is a real draw and a great place to watch the waves. It’s such a shame that the cafe is boarded up and empty. It too would make a lovely addition to the resort, even if they just serve drinks, toasties and ice creams. Maybe the resort bosses should think less about the rent and more about the quality of the experience for their guests!!

Car park poorly lite with massive potholes everywhere & lot of 'activity' at night
Described as a resort but more of a shanty town 

We made the most of it but wouldn't return, of all the hoseasons holidays we have gone on this is the lowest standard.
