Crickleigh House

We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained. We had a lovely front room on the first floor. It was spacious, with its own built-in en-suite, toilet and walk-in shower area. We are used to a super-king bed at home, and the double seemed too small for us. We should have asked for a room with twin beds, our fault. In the photo of the house, our bedroom was the one above the bay window, which was where breakfast was served. And what a breakfast it was. My wife enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and raved about the kiwi fruit and strawberries. The home safe muesile was delicious, and the cooked breakfast was powerful. A menu is offered the day before and you simply tick what you want and offer a time. Clearly, it was freshly prepared and of the highest of standards. It was easy to find, had plenty of decent parking and was perfectly situated for exploring. The owner was chatty and offered advice on places to see, at our request. We would definitely stay again.
