New years break at Searles, entertainment very good and our lodge comfortable cosy and very clean .we have been to Searles many times but never at new years eve ,we did enjoy it and hunstanton it's self was great.went to panto at local theatre which was a delight.the only reason I could not give five stars was the issues we had with oven in our lodge,just not fit for purpose and I did bring this to attention of reception three times,we had maintenance look at it and they said it was not really very good at heating up or cooking food on a timely manner.ie one pizza took I hour and 20 mins to cook ,an item which should take 20mins on average.i feel that this is just not good enough for the price we paid.applicances should work correctly and be checked before hiring out to customers.i have to say I'm disappointed by you Searles .I feel we would come again but I would seek reassurance that the accomodations we would choose would not have this issue.

New years break

The New Year's party is definitely worth the stay! It was our second stay! They also had an amazing bin that I really liked for some reason. The reception staff are really helpful and helped us chose our stay for this year. Thank you Searles! 😁😁

An amazing second stay at an amazing park with amazing staff! 

It's a late review as I visited July 2023. Normally we camp in the paddock but this year we went for a beckwood with a hot tub as a treat. The location of the beckwoods 5 is great, it's not nosey and its close to everything. Upon entering it was perfectly set out and very clean apart from the bathrooms which all that was missed was cob/dust webs around the toilet roll holder. Not even worth complaining about while we was there as everything else was spot on. Sadly you could see some damage from prior holiday makers like wall paper ripped off and dents in the doors but it didn't stop us from enjoying our holiday, it's just a shame other people don't respect others property. 

The beds was comfy, only problem was the beds are very short. One of my guests who is slightly over 6ft had to put the table stool at the bottom of the double bed so his feet didn't hang off while sleeping. 

On the searles website you used to be able to look at a over view of all accommodation which included bed sizes in each accommodation, how many showers etc but for some reason this year its no longer visible. Would be great with that gets put back online so guests can have a look and see which accommodation suits them best.

The site is always clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly and helpful. 
Didn't get chance to visit the club so can't comment on that. The on site chip shop has upped his game, perfect food every time we visited during our 7 night stay.

Already booked for 2024 and this time I've chose a gold Lodge 5 with Hot Tub, I hear they are normal sized beds haha. August needs to hurry up!


Been visiting for 20+ years

Perfect holiday centre . Excellent range of accommodation to suit all budgets, has plenty of dog-friendly units too. Good range of facilities on site (some are obviously seasonal). Very clean, well laid out site, short stroll to beach, Hunstanton town centre. plenty to do / see around the area. Been a regular visitor for 40yrs, never been disappointed.

Perfect Holiday Centre

Soul weekend, we had a great time, will definitely go again! The caravan was modern and spotlessly clean. The events were superb but firmly aimed at dedicated soul communities! We had the “food package” which was, although basic, done the trick! Will definitely be booking again next year!

Great soul weekend

We stayed in a lodge for the first time, which was absolutely fantastic in comparison to the caravans which we have used in the past.  They are very good caravans.  Somehow our lodge was in a mobile signal blackspot.  There was effectively no Vodafone or EE and just a little 02.  All around it seemed fine.  We don’t know whether the ducks that clustered around our hut were keen on avoiding the signal or whether it was something else that caused them to obsess with us.  We were not encouraging them, just trying not to walk their step-excrement onto the carpet.  Perhaps they were just hoping that we would give them our complimentary shampoo cruet set.  The door could have been easier to lock.

We went half board, which was a mistake.  The breakfasts were wonderful but the evening meals typically disappointing – although the carvery was nice.  There are many opportunities to eat out nicely around Searles.  Also, the lodge had a good kitchen and there is a massive Tesco on the other side of the roundabout.  The evening entertainment was good, if a little late and a little loud for my tastes.  I’d go again.

I too was staying at Searles for a table top games event last week and it was the perfect setting. The communal areas were good, with well spaced tables, not too noisy and close to a bar. The restaurant was reasonably priced. I was self-catering in a 4-bedroom lodge and it was warm and comfortable. But perhaps the most remarkable thing was the sunny nature of the staff, who were without exception friendly and helpful. Well done Searles.  Additionally my in-laws stayed and enjoyed the surrounding area and hot-tub.

Excellent touring pitch site.If you like golf there's golf ,pitch & putt,fishing lakes,tennis courts and indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools.Short walk to the beach or into town.Place is kept very clean & tidy as is toilets.Staff friendly and helpful 

Touring park

Part of the organising team for the games convention that was held here last week. It is an amazing place with everything we could ask for. The hall and bars are large and lots of tables. The food and drink on offer cater to everyone. The breakfast buffet is amazing.  The lodges are comfortable, clean and warm, especially in January.The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are all helpful and polite.  They are so accommodating to us organisers. Could not ask for better. Well done.
