This is the perfect stop and place to stay on a visit to Fort William. Beautiful Gardens overlooking amazing scenery. The Owners Dave and Leigh are very friendly and helpful giving oodles of advice on good places to go and see and visit . They were also very accommodating to any request we had . Breakfast was superb every morning - rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable . WiFi and Tv was excellent  too  :)  highly recommend will be revisiting soon !!!

Best Guesthouse in Fort William

The B&B is very close to the town center. We had a beautiful, very spacious room with lake view. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. We found this B&B last minute after we had just finished the West Highland Way and couldn't believe our luck. The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. Leigh is a very nice host and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend to stay there.

Beautiful Guesthouse

Arrived here to a very warm welcome after a long days walking.  Lovely guest house with nicely appointed rooms and a comfy bed.

Property is within easy reach of the town centre and has beautiful views across the loch

Everything was perfect for us and we got a ground floor room which helped with my partners walking disability plus this had views to the front which overlooked the water.

One night stay

The hosts were extremely welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The location was excellent: only a very short walk from the town centre with superb views across Loch Linnhe. For those completing The West Highland Way this is one of the closest B&Bs to the end of the walk. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable accommodation in an excellent location

Overnight stay at the start of Great Glen way walk starting from Fort William. Friendly and helpful staff. By comfortable twin room. Hearty breakfast. Great location overlooking the loch and convenient location. Was able to leave car in rear car park for duration of our week long walk. Would stay there again on future visits. 

Very welcoming and comfortable in great location 

I was exceedingly impressed by the warm welcome I received at Fassfern Guesthouse. The proprietors,  Leigh and David, did everything to make my stay there a delight! They are a charming, young couple, bubbling with enthusiasm! 
Fassfern is a wonderful example of an old Victorian home. It felt like I was stepping back in time, as I sat in the 19th century dining room enjoying a lovely traditional Scottish breakfast.
My room was at the front of the house with a fine view of Loch Linnhe. The window was dressed with an exquisite pair of custom made tartan drapes and the bed could not have been more comfortable. 
I will be back!

Outstanding Highland Hospitality!

Stayed one night before travelling up to Skye,  lovely clean room and very comfy bed. Breakfast was first class and hosts made us very welcome.  Location to the High street was a short walk away and the view from our bedroom was fantastic looking across the water over to the hills. We would definitely return and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Fort William ,Fassfern is the place to stay.

We have just come home from a 3 night break at this amazing guesthouse.  It was spotlessly clean, the hosts were lovely and very helpful when we asked about places to eat in the area. The lady who served the breakfast was very nice and chatty, she asked every morning what our plans were for the day. The breakfast was superb,  there was dishes of fresh fruit and yoghurts which was a nice extra. The finishing touches to the room was nice, beautiful curtains and lovely thick carpets. 
We will definitely be back,

Hidden gem guesthouse

Lovely warm welcome from the hosts Dave and Leigh. Was very clean and the breakfast was really nice. The guest house is within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!!!!
