Amazing food- Everything is so fresh and tasty. My top recommendation would have to be the mix grill. Drinks reasonably priced and there's also a great selection. Staff are always welcoming with a strong management presence. Great atmosphere- Family friendly pub.

Great place

This pub is under new management, the food was excellent, the new menu is very vibrant and full of flavour. The pub is clean and tidy with a pool table and darts and has a great vibe. This is definitely a place to come and try the great food on offer. The service was great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will be back again with the family.

Fantastic Food

We visited during the Christmas market event at the pub and it was lovely. There is new management and it was their first event to attract new and existing customers.  There was a Santas Grotto and so many stalls from local businesses which was great to see. It was their first launch of the food menu that day too.  The food was great and the children had a great time.  The pub atmosphere was vibrant and we will be definitely coming back.

Superb Christmas event

As away fans from Wycombe we were made so welcome. The lady behind the bar even took a photo of me, my guinness  & 4 baby guinness! I cannot find any way of contacting them to get a copy of this picture & would be so grateful if anybody could  post something that would give me any way of contacting them. They were GREAT

Such a nice experience the drinks are all good quality and the bar staff are all so friendly and love to have a nice chat to you it is not the busiest pub in derby but is definitely one of the nicest I will definitely be coming back for a drink soon

Nice pub

The bar staff are brilliant, nothing they could do better had a smile on there face the whole time I was in the pub, 

Can’t rate them enough, good music, smiles all round.

Brilliant pub

Working in a pub I understand that it is hard to please customers when it is busy however I also know that you look for who has been waiting to be served
Complete joke that the barmaid served the man in front of us, we queued to get to the front… but the man who was at the front sits down with a drink then comes back to the bar to get served again  before us, and the rest waiting ….

Not a quick drink the match!!

This pub has seriously changed can tell the new owners have invested time and money into the place. The garden is great outdoor telly too very close to football stadium and a burger van to help fill the gap.  Much more family friendly now kids laughing and playing on the swings while mum and dad enjoy a nice cold refreshing beverage in the sun what more could you want.

Birthday

We held a birthday party here, the ladies were really helpful and welcoming, location great for people coming from out of town, large garden for the children to all run riot without disturbing anyone. Ample free onsite parking.
Only dissapointment was the sensor in the toilet cubicle is in the main area and you end up in the dark.

Staff very welcoming and great place for drinks before you heading out into town 

Recommend attending if you want to chill out for evenings or to play pool then got separate room to enjoy
