Rooms are always clean and tidy! The location is very local to shops and the beach is within walking distance. Very easy to use as everything is self explanatory and the house is very private. So you can go and return as you so wish during day or night

Staff  are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile.

double en suite, had everything needed for our stay, we were even given a hairdryer.  Room and Guest house very clean and fresh, one of the best in cleethorpes,  close to centre and all bars and restaurants.  Only 5 mins from Pier and beach

I booked this for myself and 80 year old  nan which cost £65 it showed a beautiful room with private bathroom on the site when booking we paid when we got there went up to our room and it was discussing plus no private bathroom we went down to see the manager who became very aggressive and refused to refund us we left and booked into the premier hotel my auntie went to speak to the manager which she asked if she could talk to him in private but he said he was busy playing pool she told him the nature of her visit and he became so aggressive tried to man handle her which she is a very professional lady never raised her voice she told him not to touch her he then walked off into his private accommodation saying let yourself out  refusing to refund the £65 she did tell him that the matter won't be left and further action will be taken to reclaim the £65 I would leave well alone not a nice man at all 

Aggressive manager

If you're looking for somewhere to stay this place is perfectly situated for the town (5 minute walk). The proprietor is a thoroughly decent sort and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. We were lucky enough to get the upper-front room which looked out over the street and was a very large room in comparison to some we've had. Don't let the shared facilities deter you, only some of the rooms use them, others are en-suite. Don't be a bonehead by booking and then complaining the curtains aren't from Laura Ashley, just turn up, drop off your luggage and have a great time. I reckon it's a cracking place and a great price.

Crackin little B&B

Stayed at Claydens for one night this weekend. This is ideal as a base to visit family or to explore the area. I visited family and a relative actually gave me Claydens details. Kath and Ken are lovely and welcoming and a genuinely friendly couple. Accommodation was simple but comfortable and clean and we liked the added touches of tea & coffee facilities, towels and bath mat and lap tray in the room! We didn't have breakfast so can't comment but have heard it is good. Free WI-Fi throughout. Would definitely recommend. And if they don't have space here, try Albany guesthouse across the road - also owned by the same couple. One thing that is a bit of a faff is parking but that isn't their fault...You have to get lucky with a space around the area...

Nice Simple Place to stay close to sea front

Got there and person who owned guest house was there to show us in ROOM= room was very nice especially for families  we had own on site shower sink toliet some rooms had to share . In room flat screen TV with dvd player in space for hanging clothes  small kettle in and Internet password and user name to get Internet on. BREAKFAST =was nice could choose ur own cearel  then u would be asked if u wanted cooked brakfasd that was nice only down side was u had to cross busy road which was noisy to get to other hotel They owned where breakfast was served 😯 TRANSPORT = Train station  just round corner not far away so good to get to after train ride buses not far away SURROUNDING AREAS = not far from all the shops and amusements  everything only round corner and along road down to sea front PUBS AND RESTAURANTS = again main resturants just round corner ATTRACTIONS = ALL amusements along front there is leisure centre not far away miniature railway  train takes u along sea front and  zoo with snakes parrots monkeys and many more  people with kids will find things to do

Lovely value for money for an overnight stay.
Excellent location, we arrived at around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon so we did struggle for parking, the owner i formed us that you could park down any of the side streets except for the one at the side of the guest house.
Room was spotless with ensuite that was also very clean. Beds were comfy and no outside noise.
Excellent location also. Will visit again
