Brian the receptionist was incredibly helpful and kind upon arrival, the hotel is in a great location and lots of space for parking, the room was quiet and the food in the resteraunt was brilliant, would recommend to anyone staying in the area, would stay again

Great stop off point that’s close to the city centre. Very friendly staff that accommodated us very well. Clean and reasonably priced rooms too. Got there before check in time so went into the restaurant next door for a drink. Also very helpful staff

Used this hotel while here for a family gathering, room are great, smelt very clean and well presented.  Also felt nice and warm when entering on a cold night. The team on the desk and those we came into contact with were all so friendly and polite

Fab stay again with Premier Inn. This was my second visit to the Premier Inn Central at Carlisle and it was as great as the first time. Staff on reception were so friendly, my room was spotless and I had a great nights sleep ready for my early morning trip the next day. No issues, would recommend. 

Recommended to try stopping here for breakfast on route to Newcastle . So glad we did. Great price for unlimited. I had continental husband cooked. Range on buffet which was fresh and constantly checked and refreshed. No one waited for anything . Quality was great. The continental had good selection again fresh and always plenty. We needed some help and the staff were really helpful. The place was busy and yet staff kept tables clean and prepped as soon as they were free. We look forward to this being our regular stop. In fact we have told all the family to use it. Not to mention price was amazing .

me and my husband stayed for the second time, at Carlisle central premier inn , we had a lovely stay , the room was lovely , the staff was lovely , especially Kayleigh and Margot who were kind enough to show us around a premier plus room, so will definitely be staying in one of them next time ! 

Car park was a little crowded when we arrived (Wednesday 5pm), but that was pretty much the only thing I could fault. Sat nav took us off at M6 Junction 42, but Junction 43 is much closer and quicker. Check in was friendly, easy and quick. Extra tea/coffee was pointed out to us. Room was tidy and clean. It is on a busy road, so there is road noise from fairly early in the morning. Breakfast buffet had been taken away because it had been quiet, but that meant our breakfast was freshly cooked and hot, and it was made clear to us that it was still unlimited, and we were asked a couple of times if there was anything else we would like. this was just a quick stopover on our way, but I'd definitely return if we needed something similar again.

We travel to Scotland a couple of times a year and make it a two day journey. The Premier Inn Central in Carlisle is an ideal stopping off point to spend the night. It is very convenient for the motorway and the standard of accommodation is always very good. We will be stopping off again.

Codie was very welcoming when we arrived to check in. She was very professional and efficient and couldn’t be more helpful.
Great stay, room was comfortable and the travel cot was in the room as requested.
I was definitely recommend to family and friends.

We booked the Premier inn as this is 5 mins walk from Carlisle football ground. Its a 20 min walk or 5 min drive to main city centre in Carlisle where there is plenty of pubs to choose from. The room was clean and just what we needed for our overnight stay. The bed was super comfy, we had a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly, chatty. the breakfast the next day was just what we needed before our drive home. Can't beat Premier inn for value for money.

Decided to get away for the night, so crossed the country to Carlisle as we haven't been for a while.
Firstly I upgraded the room for I think under £10, for that we got a fridge, A/C, better shower, toiletries, bigger TV ( I think) the room looked new, carpet etc, worth every penny in my eyes.
Anyway typical PI, nice friendly reception, room clean, towel nice , think smd soft.
Bed comfy as usual, but just a king-size, none of the two singles puched together malarky, much nicer for couples 😜 
We booked the breakfast deal, nice tasty and freshly prepared fayre, we were down early so the waitress took our order rather than serve yourself buffet affair, which started as we finished, couldn't fault the place😁.
Well done premier Inn 👍

Just Upgrade you won't be disappointed!

The Premier Inn Carlisle Central is a good basic hotel.  The rooms were clean and the staff friendly.  The hotel doesn't have a/c so it can get warm in the summer, but some of the rooms had fans. The free wi fi was a bit slow but supported basic functions.  No real issues, it's a basic hotel, but a good one.  We ate at the restaurant which was fine, but nothing too special.

We have used this hotel a number of times over the last few years and we were very pleased to see that the high standards of this hotel were being maintained. All the staff were very pleasant but I have to give a special mention to Caren on reception who was very informative and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable but no external noise overnight and the breakfast was cooked to order and very nice. Well done to the Premier Inn Team at Carlisle and thank you for looking after us.
