What a fab site with lovely owners, great size pitches and lots of extra little touches - pizza van with gorgeous homemade pizzas, great little camp shop with fresh pastries etc, pop up bar, nice clean toilets and shower cubicles. Just great!

Beautiful, clean and family friendly location which was also dog friendly. 
We celebrated a friend’s birthday with stunning views and sunsets. Great relaxed and most enjoyable weekend, with FANTASTIC HOSTS Suzanne and Drew. 
Great clean facilities and we will definitely be back.

Booked at short notice for a family event in Chester 
Owner gave us a very warm welcome and answered all our questions
We stayed in the yurt which I can only describe as bang on
Everything you need is in the yurt and plenty of space to sit outside
2 lots of shower and toilet buildings so no waiting and both were clean and tidy
We didn’t need to use the shop on site however it appeared to have most things we would’ve needed 
If you’re looking for a campsite in the area I would definitely recommend this one

Yurt weekend

We booked this campsite as it was reasonably priced and we weren't dissappointed.

On arrival the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent, plenty of places to visit such as multiple castles, a picturesque marina, canal walks, lovely little villages and plenty of countryside walks, and close enough to Chester for a day there also.

The site facilities were always clean and tidy and there were no complaints at all.

We would definitely visit again.

Really lovely and friendly site and really close to lots of nice places in Cheshire. Staff were fantastic and the Mexican night they put on was lovely. We were in the Hay Field and it was a great space where we had loads of room. We will definitely be coming back.

Camped with the family and dogs over 4 nights.

Beautiful site, large flat field, excellent clean facilities.

Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. 

Local chip shop delivers to the site.

Site was peaceful, quiet and ideally located - within 30 minutes to most places within Chester.  

Yes some farmyard animal noise but nothing to spoil our stay.

Recommend Delamere Aqua Park, just a 25 minute drive away.

Cannot fault anything - fantastic !

Definitely coming back to this one. Massive field on a working farm. Dog had a great time. Chester half an hour away. Shops and pub nearby. Clean toilets and showers. Warm welcome and a little shop on site for essentials. Fire pits available. Good prices, one of the sites we’ve stayed at

Superb Location- Excellent Site

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Pitch & Canvas for 4 nights just before the Jubilee celebrations and we couldn’t have had a better time!

The pitches are all spaced out so you never feel like you’re encroaching on other peoples’ holidays and the facilities are well maintained and cleaned each day.

The owner is delightful, always on hand to help and always lovely to chat to. 

It was our first time camping and it couldn’t have been a better experience!

Can’t Wait To Come Back

This was our second stay at Pitch and Canvas - this time staying in one of the statics. The host Suzanne was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The caravan was spotlessly clean and toasty warm. We love the site because it's small and rural, and perfectly located for sightseeing around Cheshire. We look forward to returning with our campervan next year.

One of our favourite sites

We stayed for 2 nights in the Peckforton View caravan on 10th and 11th Sept. One double room and a twin.  4 adults. Communication prior to arrival was fantastic. I needed to get to a wedding venue in Christelton on the evening of 12th, and needed a cab. These are hard to come by with the area being so rural. The owner provided all the info I needed and even offered to take us, but was out that evening herself and was unable to, but what hospitality!!
The caravan is clean, comfortable with a fab powerful shower. Hot water and nice comfortable beds. We had no problems whatsoever. Great price too. Unfortunately my mum in law left some items in her room, but the owners are posting them back to us. So very kind. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely stay again.
