Mordros B&B Bude

My husband, myself had a double at the back, with a sea view, and nieces from Australia had a twin room at the front. There weren't rules and regulations plastered all over the place, as the b&b we stayed in Glastonbury the night before did! Paul met us as Tina was taking the dogs for a walk, but she came to say hello as soon as she returned. The rooms had plenty of space, and were homely, not sterile and corporate hotel looking. The food was freshly cooked, even the fruit platters our nieces had, had been cut specifically for them and not sitting in a bowl of juice from which they had to help themselves. One of them is a vegan, and had the choice of various types of milk and cereals for breakfast, along with other foods that she could eat. Please don't be put off by talk of fitness and training: I am an overweight woman, getting on in years, and I wasn't made to feel ill at ease, in fact, quite the contrary and had I been of younger years, I would have flattering my eyelashes at Paul! We had chats discussing how Tina and Paul started their business and about life in general. Nice to meet a couple who really enjoy what they are doing. There are two hotels/restaurants just five minutes walk away: one quite up market and new, the other more sort of pub grub, but both were good. The beach with cafes on is not much further. It's near enough to walk to town, but we were quite happy with the nearby restaurants. A great time and we will definitely be back for a longer stay. Thanks Tina and Paul.
