Great staff really helpful and friendly room very clean very nice stay easy to locate would definitely recommend to anyone travelling or looking to stay for a weekend staff were very knowledgeable on where to eat and had lots of great recommendations

My stay at the Edgbaston park hotel was excellent and would recommend anyone looking to stay in Birmingham for the weeke

Lovely rooms but for us oldies to many things digitally controlled!! Restaurant at night found food a little hit and miss. Main course of cottage pie not so good but pudding of sticky toffee pudding very good. Champagne by the glass one of the best!! Would stay again but be more careful when ordering in restaurant.

Unusual location

Beautiful hotel! Very clean, friendly staff. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a hotel. Well worth a visit. Short distance into the city. Only 2 miles from CadburyWorld. Would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Birmingham.

Excellent hotel.

A really wonderful Hotel, easy check in plenty of hassle free parking, very clean superb room, amazing buffet breakfast, incredible friendly and helpful staff, a great place to stay for what ever your reason for being in Edgbaston Birmingham, would highly recommend.

Just a perfect place to stay

My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. All of the staff were excellent, with Rhonda,  Kristian, and Katey standing out among their team of hospitable colleagues. Everyone made an effort to help me find or retrieve what I wanted or inquired about and they suggested amenities and services that made my stay exactly what I needed it to be. The food in the lounge and the breakfast area had a great selection for an ovo-vegetarian. I appreciated the dairy-free options and the wonderful vegan desserts! I will definitely return again!

I couldn't have asked for anything more  - other than sun!

The hotel itself was fine though we did find the room a little dark. The food in the bar was excellent as was the service. sadly the food in the restaurant was not so good - lukewarm and it seemed as if it had been 'kept warm' for a while - it didn't seem to be freshly cooked. 

Very good but restaurant meal was a disappointment

A great stay, staff are always friendly and efficient. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and have everything you need to be able to travel light - hairdryer, iron, good towels, water, tea/coffee etc. Overall it is a great place to stay, my only recommendation is to improve the quality of the coffee at breakfast and the speed of service at the bar sometimes.

Recent stay

The bed was very comfortable and room well presented. Staff very friendly and the food was delicious. When checking out (very early), it was very easy and the member of staff at the front desk booked me a taxi. Brilliant! 

Lovely hotel

We booked our wedding with Edgbaston Park Hotel (EPH). The first thing that stood out was the service we received prior to paying any deposit. Tasmin was our main point of contact, and would typically respond to any questions  within 48 hours. This was very different from our experience with other venues while making enquiries. 

The second thing that stood out was how beautiful the venue is. The hotel's bar, fry suite room, grounds for photos are picturesque and perfect for a wedding.

The final reason that set EPH were set apart from other venues was their flexibility. We are of Caribbean descent, and were able to use external caterers (on the EPH recommended list) who delivered extremely high quality food. Some of the small touches the venue allowed made a huge difference, such as allowing a vendor to play steel pans.

Tasmin was extremely clear with her communication from the beginning,  which meant there were no nasty surprises, or stones left unturned for our special day. 

We met with Tasmin prior to the wedding to create a detailed plan for her to pass onto the hotels' wedding co-ordinators to ensure all of the staff were aware of what is happening when. The EPH staff are very involved with things like room turnaround and set up, to ensure the day runs smoothly. 

Tasmin contacted all of our vendors directly prior to the wedding to ensure the correct documentation was provided, as well as confirming  their time of arrival and key details. This saved us a lot of stress and time in the lead up to the wedding. This also meant that everybody knew the plan and were able to execute on the day. 

The co-ordinators we were allocated on the day, Shane and Nash, were top drawer. They worked with our bridal party to ensure everything ran smoothly, and everything that was promised was delivered to an extremely high standard. 

All in all, our wedding day was perfect and we owe a lot of that to the staff at Edgbaston Park Hotel who delivered great service from day one. We've only had positive feedback from the guests about the venue and staff, and we are extremely grateful.

The hotel was big, clean and modern, our room was a really good size the restaurant food was michelin star quality.
The staff were extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. We will definitely stay again soon.
