We have stayed at Ashley Villa and the room service and people were brilliant, tried to book a seconded time but the guest house was going through a refurbishment but we did stay in an apartment that was owned by the same people.  The apartment had everything we needed luxury at its best at a reasonable price. The apartments location to bath city centre was only a walk away.   I highly recommend Ashley Villas

Stayed here with my mum in Dec for the Christmas Markets.

Overall was a nice stay, very good check in very informative and all staff very helpful and friendly. (one young lady who helps with breakfast wears very casual clothes- hard to differentiate from other guests even just a name badge would help)

Room was ok, we had a twin en suite at the front of the building. my first impression was 'smelly' it smelt really damp and musky. After being in there 10 mins you get used to it but a little off putting! Room very hot, had to sleep with the window open and the guest house is situated on a very busy road, on the first night I didn't get much sleep at all. Was so noisy. We were unsure how to work the shower and phoned down to reception once explained was easy enough but maybe some instructions in the room would have saved a phone call. One of the knobs on the shower felt very loose- did report this. 

Beds made and clean towels toilet roll and more tea coffee bits replenished after first night. 

Breakfast nice. Just enough. Continental spread nice too, nice selection. 

If it wasn't for the smell in the room and the very noisy road this would have been a great stay, Can see the staff try their hardest. 

Location (other then it being noisy at the front) was great. we walked to and from the city centre on one of the days. Took us around 20-25 mins.

Christmas Markets 2 night stay

Room ok although noisy pipes in bathroom from the basin when the plug was pulled.We had room that was next to a busy road and you could hear the traffic.Pillows on bed were very lumpy and quite hard to sleep on .Breakfast was OK coffee was not Very weak .Stated a 20 minute walk to the centre.Now I'm a fast walker and it took us 35 plus minutes to walk .

Christmas market

This guest house is one of the best we have stayed in. Lovely couple who run it and staff who are always willing to help and guide you. 
Came here for the Christmas markets and was a great experience. Cute little craft stalls and tea rooms dotted around. 
Rooms are great in the hotel.and the breakfast is brilliant sets you up for the day. 
Easyier and cheaper to get a taxi to town if 3 or more of you instead of the bus. 

Fantastic hotel in great location

This is a great Bed &Breakfast - very good rooms, lovely bathrooms, excellent breakfast. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Great to have parking available and very easy access to Bath via short taxi journey. We had two twin rooms and they were both excellent. Highly recommend Ashley Villa so you can see the wonderful city of Bath and have a good quality place to stay.
