I've come through Rize a couple times on my way to the heavenly Ayder Yaylası, and this is where I always stay. For 50 TL per night (single) you get a comfy bed, a private bathroom and a little private balcony (!!!) plus fast wi-fi. And although none of the staff speak much English, they're all eager to help. OK, so this place is a little worn down. The decor appears to date from the 70s and the rooms tend to smell kinda weird. I don't care. I have yet to find anyplace else in Rize where 50 TL will get you a room this spacious.
