Was given a basement room & didn’t realise how dark and dingy it would be. The photos one finds online are misleading. No one was there when I arrived, & there seem to be no staff on duty. Rooftop was also not taken care of. Left after a night even though I paid for 3.

Prices are excellent, I have stayed for a week and honestly I am so happy I found this place. The room was lovely, clean with most comfortable bed and well furnished. The hotel is in a very good location in the center of Taksim. Also internet speed is very good. Thank you very much. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic!

This place is beautiful and located in the middle of Taksim. You can find delicious restaurants, cafes and shops on foot. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They also give you advice about the city. Hotel decoration is also very stylish and warm, this place gives you the comfort of your home. There is a small kitchenette which is good when you have an extended stay. Thanks for everything.

Excellent

This hotel is clean and tidy. One of the most positive points is excellent access to all of things that will be necessary for a tourist... you can find a perfect facilities in its kitchen,  and has a warm and comfortable bathroom... 
Actually, the hospitality is perfect... and we really feel convenient. Worth mentioning,  Mr.Hasanali as a manager of the hotel is very kind and helpful and he will provide everything you need. All in all, we had an amazing and memorable accommodation there.

My review for Taxim No 18 BOUTIQUE Hotel

I spent 1 month in Istanbul and made this my home, I couldn't have been happier! Already on my way to Istanbul I was happy to be contacted by the manager and asked if I needed any assistance! On the taxi she called me and spoke to the taxi driver to make sure he was going to the right place! When I arrived late in the evening I was greeted and welcomed in my apartment, the apartments are lovely! Nicely designed, good size and well thought through. In all fairness they could get quite noisy at times as it's very close to a main road with tons of traffic - and yes Turkish drivers like their horns - but I found myself comforted by this sound as it's the sound of the city! Never I was unable to sleep. The location is amazing because you are close the nightlife and food hub of the Beyouglu area, Nevizade and the Balik Pazar but you are in the small street where there is only houses and small boutique hotels so no much happening on your street but if you want it it's less the 2mins away!

Value for money, location, location, location!


+The house owners are cooperative and show good attention to the guest.
+location: it may be advantage for this property especially who likes night life but for us it was disadvantage.

-It is not a hotel, it just a house  with 3 floors, Each room in a floor, with no elevator, just a narrow irony stairs,with no reception just a chair in the roof.

-Housekeeping service was bad,everyday we return to the room and find the garbages are not removed even from the garbage bin!

-no reception and room service so if you need something you have to send an email to get it next day!!

-No baby crib/cot!

-the location was bad for us although it's close to estkilal road ,a lot of bars and night clubs near by so a lot of noise without soundproof.

-there is little privacy in the room because one of curtains is transparent so people outside could see inside the room clearly.

-the blanket so hard and rough.actually its just a hard towel not a blanket.



Modest property

Magnificient hotel with contemporary design. It is located in the heart of Taksim, with its extremely convenient location & budget room rates, it is ideal for weekend getaways. General cleanliness & fast wifi connection is also a plus.

Funny thing though, when I booked a room for the weekend in No18 with my girlfriend we have planned so many nasty attractions like drinking ridiculuosy and throw up every corner of the Taksim district. However owners Tuğçe & Aslan welcomed us so warm, we preferred to stay at hotel all day long and chat with them. Both former athletes, they have soooo many attractive stories about their careers to listen.

I strongly suggest you peep, by any chance if you prefer to stay in Taksim after a long night or simply want to stayaway from your daily routine you should definetely consider No18. Even if not, just grab your beers and go to roof top to enjoy the remarkeble view among the nicest people.

Fascinating premise with wonderful Management Squad

This little hotel was a very good surprise. For a great price we stayed at a brand new apartament, clean and tidy , located at the heart of the Taksim area, 50 m from Balik Pazari and 200 m from Istiklal street. It also has what is probably the best shower in Istambul, as I said, all brand new. Wifi was also very good. Nice view from the top lounge, great for a cup of tea or a turkish coffee (free!) just aroud sunset.
