We came back the second time this summer and spend two 10 incredible relaxing days. We did not have to worry about corona infection since everything was taken care of in the best possible way. The hygiene concept was excellent. This place is for people who love individuality, quite beautiful gardens, simple but organic food (most of it is from their own garden) and jazz music in the evening. You can sit for hours on the patio or terrace with a view on the sea and read a book, or just go down hundred meters to the nice bay and beach and go swimming in the clean water. The place is called aquarium  bay because you can snorkel and see many types different fish. The water is also perfect for children because it is sallow at the beginning. For whom the beach is too crowded which is often the case you just can go down swim and go back up to the premise or you visit one of the many other beaches on the island. The owners and the service is very personal and pleasant; you feel very much welcomed and very good taken care of. Even if you don’t have a car there is taxi service on the island, there is a so called minibus stopping that the hotel and the owner helps you to make arrangements to get there from the airports in Istanbul or Izmir.

Bozcaada is great and silence in Akvaryum Otel is perfect. Breakfast was very delicious, we did not get dinner or lunch. You can drive to the beaches, you can drive to the center.

Room was clean and comfortable, the only negative thing was the room that we stayed in was very small for 2 adults and 1 child. 

No refrigerator in the room, but we gave our drinks to the hotel staff, and they kept them on their refrigerator. Thanks for that :)

Best for Silence

One of the best vacations i have ever had. Walking distance to the best sea in Bozcaada. Very calm and peaceful. Especially wonderful view at night.

Akvaryum beach can be crowded in high season but there are always many alternatives nearby, like Sulubahce beach. I recommend coming by car, to appreciate the nearby beaches and restaurants in Bozcaada at night. 

Spacious and clean rooms with beautiful decoration. No TV, which makes lots of sense in this environment. 

Breakfast is one of the best i had, with all the locally made delicates. Staff is very friendly and helpful. 

I will definitely come again. 

My sanctuary in Bozcaada

This hotel is located at a great bay. You'll not need to drive to a beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable (we have stayed in a suite room). There are not a tv or refrigerator in the room, which is strange though. The breakfast is excellent. Friendly staff, silent and cool garden...

Excellent!

The boutique hotel was located on the south side of the island where there is almost no other building. Although the island is mostly barren, the hotel has some trees and green with a beautiful Akvaryum Cove view. Since it is out of the city center, some 7 km, it is very quiet and there is no parking problem if you come by your car. On the other hand, the distance is actually a positive since it is located near coves where you can swim and does not bother if you decide to go to center for dinner. 

The rooms are ample (family room) for 2 adults and 2 children. Although it lacks some amenities such as long mirror, tv, more drawers it does not disturb ones. But more drawer and a long wardrobe would be very useful. 

The rooms are very clean when you first take the room. Towels are changed every day, rooms is cleaned but never becomes as the first day. 

At night it is even more pleasant with a jazz music on the background. If you decide to eat in the hotel, the menu is a la carte. Food is good but a little bit expensive. The breakfasts on the other hand which is inluded pick selective items mostly home prepared. 

Pleasant island experience

Away from the hassle of the town, hidden on top of the best bay of the island, designed to blend with nature but to make you feel elegantly posh and serene, the soul of the island lives in this hotel and in the hearts of their lovely owners. After your marvelous breakfast, you go down to the bay/cove where the wind blows from the land making the sea like a cushion for a perfect dip and at the end of the day, you buy your cold white wine to go and watch the sunset at the breathtaking windmills. As a cherry on top of the cake, if you are there on full moon, you will see it rise right in front of the hotel almost making the sun jealous of its set, perfectly round and red.
