7 reviewsWe flew from Singapore into Phuket with Air Asia. Usual delay on the flight. We had booked a taxi for 1500 bht to take us to Khao Lak. That was all excellent. Tusneem Resort was booked through Booking.com. The Booking.com map was very optimistic as to Tusneem's location. It is actually in the third street back from the beach. The main problem with this area of Khao Lak is that large hotels have commandeered the beachfront making it a fair walk to get to the sand. We walked each day for about a kilometre to reach a beach. However this beach had a succession of lovely open air restaurants. The management of Tusneem resort were wonderful. They could not have done more for us. We had Coconuts given to us. Much appreciated in the heat. WiFi was excellent. They even gave us a lift to Taku Pa bus station as they were going home for their weekend. One thing we were a bit miffed about was the fact that we paid 2000bht a night for 4 nights but Booking.com reduced their prices by 400bht a night towards the end of our stay. We would recommend Tusneem as accommodation but be prepared for a walk.
