Serena Mivumo River Lodge

This lodge was great, and we stayed at a private villa with a river over look. All of the lodge main areas and villas overlook the river. The villas have air conditioning, and were clean and comfortable. They had a nice bathroom, including an inside tube and exterior private shower. There was also a private sundeck overlooking the river. They have a small pool at the main lodge which was clean and nice. The food was pretty good, and you have choices at each meal, and lots of food. We did game drives, a river cruise and bush nature walk, and we enjoyed all of them. Our main guide was Jumbe, who was very knowledgeable and great and answered all our questions. The river cruise was super cool, and you can see lots of animals along the river in a different type of safari than other places in Tanzania. The staff are helpful, friendly and did a great job with service.
