Tansoma Business Hotel

I stayed at Tansoma recently, and was allocated a suite with some nice view. Room was great and comfortable. Though being close to the Airport, however, it takes nearly an hour to reach the hotel due to the heavy traffic jam. I would recommend this hotel for transit and business passengers.

Taking in to account we are in  tanzania the hotel is fine for a one night stay. My wife and I stayed for one night on a layover. Hotel is 10 minutes from the airport. Hotel charges $36 ft or pick up, a taxi is $30.

Front desk staff was very polite and helpful, thanks Raymond. The room was good and bad. The furniture and carpets were old, stained and ready to be replaced. The one TV didn't work but it was OK, we only stayed 11 hours to sleep.

The bed linen was clean and fresh, the mattress was comfotable (softer than expected), the ac was already on and worked great. Hot water, clean bath towels and a decent breakfast.

Not a place to brag about but it gets the job done. I would stay again

Close to Airport and comfortable room

nice considering where you are

Worst hotel I and my family have stayed ever.  Surly and rude staff, porter who did not even look at us as we rolled up with luggage -and did not offer to help.  Receptionist was more interested in who was paying for our accomodation (the manageress had forgotten to tell her it was paid by the tour company), lift not working, smelly and disgusting rooms (we had a suite and a double), rusty taps in the bathroom, mouldy shower tray etc .  Avoid at all costs.  It is not even one star and yet it claims to be so much more
