Love the rustic nature of this minsu <3 the owner took great pains to ensure guests enjoy the full traditional minsu experience, so enjoy the proximity to nature! We loved the 2 friendly dogs and the ducks in the pond :) the owner also runs a kayaking company Chuan Shuo Kayak so don't miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity to kayak towards the sunrise next to the majestic Qingshui cliffs！

Laidback minsu close to nature 

I selected this inn,Jixiang Garden Hot Spring Hostely by facilities and location; 
 1.Outdoor hot spring 2.Washing machine 3.Bicycle 4. Karaoke 5. A convenient store is located nearby 

I stayed in a cottage-like detached room. 
I communicate with owner Mr. Juan in English. 
His wife Mrs. Soh was eager to communicate by writing. 
She was very kind to acompany me to a medical doctor when I was troubled with an insect bite. 

 At first, I was anxious about whether the hostel owner is friendly, or not. 
 But it was an unnecessary worry. 
 Mr Juan and Mrs Soh are very attentive as you see the attached photo. 

 One disadvantage is that you have to commute by bicycle as this hostel is located approximately 4km away from Ruisui railway station.

You can enjoy an iron content-rich hot spring with a family-like atmosphere

Love the countryside feel here!! Our rooms gives a homely feel and we have our own hot spring tub :) Outside our room, there is a mini garden with ducks in pond and friendly dogs welcoming us at the door step! Staff are friendly and warm as well!! A good retreat from the city :)

Comfy 民宿 stay with my girls! A much traditional place for us living in a face paced society to have a shortgetaway! 热情的招待也让我们感到很舒适!早餐也很开胃，很丰盛! 谢谢吉祥温泉民诉热情的招待，下次一定会带朋友和家人去住你们的民宿! Those who are considering a 民宿stay can consider this!

Comfy 民宿

Something happened at this place between the last reviews and our visit.  No 'friendly dogs welcoming us at the door step' or 'ducks on the pond'.  We think the manager left and the elderly woman owner is struggling to run the place.  There is internet but no one knew the password.  There is a dining area and kitchen but our included breakfast could not be cooked - they sent a member of staff to the town to bring us a take-away breakfast.  Our 'up-graded' room was spacious but not in good condition, the bathroom door could not be closed, the bathroom was in a poor state, there was an ancient TV. We had a private hot spring pool outside behind the room which was ok.  Ancient bicycles are available - check them out before cycling off and get the tyres pumped up.  We cycled into Ruisui and brought a take-away dinner back to the hostel.  The staff are friendly and try to help, a young man lent us his 'phone so we could use the internet to plan the next stage of our trip, but the place needs effective management and a makeover.
