Wei Sen Guest House

Stayed for 2 nights on 19 and 20 Nov 2014 for our family of 5 in a quad room with an add-on extra metal-framed bed (NT300 per night) with breakfast, booked via Agoda. Young, pretty and friendly lady boss, Ms Lo, fetched us from the railway station upon arrival and introduced us to the good food and attractions in the town on the way back to the guesthouse. We engaged Papa Lo to bring us to Narbin Park, Cisingtan, the cliff and Taroko Gorge (NT3000). He was very patient and even brought us to a yatch-making company. He was not out to make money but more as a added-on service to his guests when he has any spare time . We left at 8.30 am and came back to town only at 6.30 pm where he sent us to Zhiqiang market for our dinner, thereafter, we walked back to the guesthouse after dinner. He even brought a large bottle of pure lime juice for my family. Breakfast is a set of burger, different fillings each day and a cup of red tea from their cafe. There are no lifts and rooms are cosy and beautifully decorated Parisian-styled. There is washing machine and microwave oven in the communal kitchen, living and dining room on the first floor. Most importantly, we met as strangers and left as friends especially with Papa Lo - a devoted husband and loving father to his children and grandchildren.
