This Hostel is probably the cheapest in Hengchun, which in itself is a good thing for a broke backpacker. But what you get for that price is above decent. The matrasses of many beds are thin. That is probably the only negative thing I can think off, the location is good, nice and quiet but the town and bus station are within walking distance.

My dorm had a sweet big balcony adjacent to the dorm, good aircon, free toiletries, a very comfortable shower (big!) and a fridge in the room. It's clean and has got some pretty sweet decoration on the balcony/front of the building. All in all a good place to stay.

Best place for the price.

Friendly guy who ran the hostel didn't speak too much English but was very keen to provide assistance if he could. (and he often did helped those who could speak Chinese)

Free coffee, tea and water which was good, although there is no kitchen for guests, although there is one within the building.

The dorm room was compact, but had it's own toilet and shower and has access to amazing balcony. The bunkbed is a fairly nice size, although suffer from a very thin mattress. 

Everyone i met was very friendly and the hostel has a friendly corgi who keeps guard downstairs.

Main problem for me was it was a fairly long walk from the centre of town, although close to paradise of deer if that's your sort of thing.

Nice hostel, but perhaps better suited for those who speak Chinese and who don't mind a bit of work.
