It's okay for one night, you can sleep. Biggest minus: parking, with permission from Rapperswil-Jona, I stay for 48 hours and don't want to have to park every 8 hours. So I'm guaranteed not to come back. That the hotel doesn't have its own parking, it's like this, it needs to be changed. Next point: the exterior lighting was so bright that you could only go to the bathroom at night with sunglasses. The room itself was okay, but for the price of CHF 160 I have to say, price performance is extremely low.

The rooms are newly renovated. It was very worthwhile. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning and the room was very warm. We had the windows open all night. At 6:00 in the morning, the church bells sounded unfortunately, there is virtually no breakfast. On the other side of the street, there is a coffee. Check-in times are only from 5:00.

So very happy the hotel opened just a week before we arrived in Jona! 
Fully renovated small hotel located just a few minutes  from the train station and bus stop in front of the main entrance. This allowed easy access to Zurich and Rapperswil, the latter was also just 15 minute walk away. 
Rooms are comfortable; wish they would have USB ports to charge electronics, would make it easier especially for international travelers! 
Breakfast served in the restaurant which is also a bar at night. Wait time for hot items during breakfast can be a bit slow but they had just opened so maybe still trying to find their flow. 
Staff was extremely friendly and professional. 
I would definitely recommend and look forward to going back!

Great hotel and wonderful staff

My husband had to stay overnight in Rappersville for business. He had a cold room and breakfast was overcrowded. On his request for a cup of tea, the answer came that there was no way he was going out. I can only advise everyone to get off the cross!!

Absolute shame, cold room, breakfast of all kinds.

We stayed only one night in this hotel. The staff were friendly and competent. There was only one room left with two single beds, with the room smelling of cold smoke and the furniture very old and worn out. With breakfast we paid CHF 160 for two people, but we had to look for the breakfast buffet because it was so small.

Price/performance does not match

Hotel room number 6: - Double bed 1.2m - worn out facilities - smells of cold smoke - windows fall off the anchorage when opened. Careful! Breakfast: - hitherto the most miserable breakfast! - Meat and cheese old and inedible - Coffee and baked goods were O. The restaurant made a good impression. But we did not eat there.

I was at the Hotel Cruz for one night because of a wedding. My partner couldn't come to the family for a short time because of a death. The reception was extremely unfriendly, the room was clean, looked neat and unkindly decorated, I had to pay the full price for two people, breakfast was absolutely nothing special. Price-performance ratio miserable, no kindness present.

Unfriendly and Expensive

He has stayed at this hotel a couple of times, in winter and summer.Excellent care by Gunther y Orsola in the restaurant.The restaurant's food is very good and the place very picturesque.Note that it is a place designed to hold events, weddings, meetings, presentations, etc., with a good restaurant and 8 rooms.

A quiet hotel and excellent restaurant...

The food was great and the staff was attentive and kind. The ambience is very inviting. The cross is centrally located and is in the middle of Jonah. It has a large garden seating area. The meat was the hammer and the drink afterwards as well. Five stars. Everyone is happy to come back.

Had dinner at this place last weekend, and the service was good and prompt. Its fair to say that the restaurant was rather empty.

The burger was good and also the wine by the glass was lovely. The waitress who served us was prompt and attentive.

Its an average place to have dinner at. Nothing to write home about, but its not bad.
