We did not sleep in the hotel, we just had dinner. Very good food, we came for the poulet im korbli which we remembered to be delicious since we last visited this place 6 years ago. The taste was the same although different owners and we loved it! The restaurant is clean and the service is nice.

Very clean room, with breathtaking views (out of both windows) and very nice staff. Would recommend! Great price and perfect to get to see the surroundings nearby. 
We are staying here one night this night but would stay here again when we are close.

Clean, good price and amazing views

This is a perfect short stay hotel in a nice little village, conveniently close to the motorway. Staff is very friendly, serving nice and freshly cooked straight forward food. Rooms are small but recently refurbished and everything is clean and well taken care off. Just keep in mind: you can hear some trafic at night but for us this was no problem at all. Perfect price-quality ratio.

Perfect short stay hotel

This is a very popular stop for travelling. Andermatt is your typical swiss mountain town. Charming and interesting to visit or stay. We had lunch at the Sternen restaurant and the food and service was excellent. The place was packed but we did not wait long for our server to show up . thats one of the reasons I miss living in Switzerland. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Would definitely visit again.

A great Place for lunch or dinner

We came here to have chicken with fries (Poulet im Chörbli). The chicken was tasty the service efficient and friendly. However, the final bill was 75 CHF and we just had one soft drink each. This is too much for such a meal, they charge fries, green salad ect all separately.

Good chicken - overpriced

My husband is a very experienced UK fire officer. He found many concerning fire safety hazzards and insisted we pack and leave within an hour of arriving. The owner debated the need for many of the fire safety requirements my husband discussed with him. Funnily enough, the next hotel we moved to 20 minutes away and still in Switzerland, had all the fire safety standards in place so I can't see why it would be so poor in one venue and top specification in the next! All concerns have been passed on to the fire service of Switzerland.

If the road noise or vibration does not drive you mad, the the child trumping back and forward in the living room above will,,, IF you can cope with both of those, then take a trip to the restaurant.. have your wallet emptied for food you could get better at any UK transport cafe
