I cannot fault this's superb B&B just a short drive north of Gothenburg. The house is delightful; beautifully restored by the present owners, large bedrooms and public rooms; clean and fresh; and a super choice of Scandinavian or British menu for breakfast. Owner Emma is welcoming and friendly, very helpful and makes you very welcome. You will not be disappointed!

We had a truly great experience at this bed and breakfast. Stayed for one night but wish it had been longer and definitely will go back! Right off the E6 on the west coast of Sweden, a minute walking distance to the sea and well placed for sightseeing this is a magical gem of a place to stay. We were impressed by the standard, which is right up there with good hotels, all rooms had en suite English style bathrooms with shower and loo, great proportioned bedrooms and even a guests sitting room and veranda to relax in, all this set in lovely gardens and talking to the owner she explained she had renovated this gorgeous old house into what it is today to accommodate guests to be comfortable, cared for and relaxed...she succeeded. The breakfast was 5 star plus...the whole experience so good and one we won't forget. Truly recommended as a great place to stay that you won't be disappointed in.

We stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast on our way to Strömstad and onwards to Norway. Right off the E6 Main road north. Set beside the sea yet in tranquil gardens we enjoyed the best hospitality EVER!  We were greeted by the owner herself, Emma, who told us she had recently opened this B&B following on from selling her last one. She certainly knows what she's doing. It was glorious rooms with really trendy English style bathrooms, the full chrome, white porcelain, Ecological bed linens in crisp white yet with a real old fashioned chic mixed in. Just our taste. The breakfast was sensational with hot porridge (which my husband had and I ate half!) the full english cooked breakfast, all in very lovely surroundings, candles lit, and then we were presented with a little box of homebaked shortbread and our flasks filled for our onward journey. The whole time we kept wondering had we got the price wrong but it was so reasonable, and all inclusive! We really recommend anyone travelling near to Ljungskile to stop off here, it honestly IS the best bed and breakfast we ever stayed in.
