Pittaniya Villa

It is rare that a house lives up to the pictures on the website but this one did just that. It was stunning; the minimal, architect designed villa, the pool, the beautiful grounds, the location - the way it nestles in the jungle, the rooms...just the whole ambiance of the property. It made for a really wonderful stay. Kalpani and Mohammad, rotate on a 24 hour basis and are fantastic, there if you need them but unobtrusive. The lovely owner went out of her way to juggle our tricky flight schedules and afforded us a truly special stay over the Christmas period. The villa is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and to some good restaurants. We loved Rockside for it's proximity to the beach, sea and turtles popping up their heads in the waves. We will most definitely return this little slice of paradise.
