This family is really helpfull and welcome. The room si so clean, sunny and confortable even if it's raining outside !!! 
The shower is perfectly hot and this is really pleasant !!!! 
You have also a living room with sofa and table that you can use. :)

Perfect place 🌼

While staying here we enjoyed everything this place has to offer. We had a nice room with a room in front of it. Since we where alone, we could use the bench and table to our full advantage. Also when we needed anything Sutha would arrange it! From heater to a second blanket, anything you need, he would bring.

Greag stay

Booked this place six months in advance and glad I stayed here as it was just 15 minutes walk to the guest station and town center.  The family and two boys who ran the GH were very friendly and could not do enough for me. I stayed four days and enjoyed their delicious breakfast each morning. Hot shower was appreciated after the day out in the cold weather .

I was well looked after

We stayed in Nuwara Eliya for just one night and opted for a cheaper option. The Redwood Inn had good ratings and choosing the "deluxe" room made sense. The homestay is operated by two young boys, while their mother runs the cooking / washing part of business. The welcome was very warm, as they carried our heavy suitcases on narrow long stairs and prepared some tea for us. However, having entered the room we could immediately smell that the smell from the accumulated moisture and bad air. The problem was also the fact that there was not heating and since it was a cold night, we had to be heavily dressed not to get cold. The breakfast was great, loved the big fresh fruit platter. Still, I would still not recommend this hotel...

Cheap, good breakfast and nice staff BUT cold / humid rooms

The place is a few minutes walk from the city center but the rooms are clean and the staff very polite and helpful. If you are tired after the day its possible to grab an auto from the city center to reach here.
The owner also has lots of birds for pets so that was interesting as well.

Place to stay at reasonable rate and has good staff

Budget home stay on hillside so the scenery is great.  Road is narrow so our car driver was not easy to drive the car (a car for 4 people only) there but no problem for tuk-tuk.

Room is very small with limited space to open luggage one by one. The stairs to the upper floor is narrow and steep so it's quite tough to carry luggage up and down.  The sound-proofing is not good so we could hear the conversations between the host and the customers on the ground floor clearly even when we closed the room on the upper floor for sleeping.  The sound from the temple is loud and very early in the morning so may not be possible to sleep well and late.
