Great Staff. Very Well Cleaned and Spacious Rooms. Super Delicious Foods. Fantastic Location right in front of the Pigeon Island. Well maintained Green Surrounding. Excellent Place for Company Outings. Highly Recommend. 😍😍😍😍😍

Annual Gathering of the Office Staff.

Came here last minute and the manager was very welcoming. We arrived with 15 people and everyone was happy with their rooms. The manager was very helpful and the bar on the beach is excellent! It was a simple hotel but with everything needed.

Great!

Beautiful hotel with great, spaceous room with sea view. Staff is very kind and helpfull. Amazing buffet for breakfast and dinner (continental and local specialties). Amazing activities with guides: snorkelling to see giant turtles and reefsharks. Tophotel!

Beautiful hotel at the sea

Resort is beautiful and the Nilaveli beach is just infront of the resort. Their breakfast is also very good and staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean and well arranged. You can just walk to the beach anytime and is just 10ft. Pigeon island starting point is just 10mins walk 

Relaxing place

This would have been about the 5th visit here but the first as a disabled person. Staff very friendly go out of their way to help.
Food very good. Keeps us wanting to go back. Only they need to fix more sturdy toilet seatsas the present fittings are somewhat old.
Ample parking available on site

Very good hotel 

We had a pleasant stay here, staff were friendly, food was excellent! we had local meals for most our stay and they were all delicious so-cannot vouch for other meals they had on offer. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hotel it self is quite old and could use some upgrading especially the bathrooms. It's a  beachfront property so ideal for those looking for a beach escape.

Perfect location

I went with my 1 1/2 yr old little one and husband. The beach was clean and suitable for little kids to play. The baby pool attached to the main pool was very convenient and safe. The staff was very friendly and was ready to help at any time. Their attitude and behaviour towards local guests is admirable. The buffet was very good with a good variety and meals were tasty. The service and facilities provided were valuable for the money we spent. A memorable holiday at a good place with good people around.

A nice place for a holiday

We call to the hotel once we arrive to Trincomalee. They arrange a sea view room quickly.
We booked half board Basis. We had a nice Sri Lankan rice and curry with chicken soup.
Not a big wow but not bad. We enjoyed a lot in ourselves coz place is very quiet.


Suddenly arrange 

nice manager always around to help, good location if you are into diving, snorkelling. Comfortable hotel according to Sri-Lankan standard - so not fancy but good enough!

it is way too expensive for what you get - if it were about 30% cheaper then it would be fine.
Also the restaurant staff are super friendly, just be aware of the slow service which is ok after all you are on vacation but if you are on a timeline make sure to get there early enough. Also the price for the food is crazy - I mean of course it is cheaper than European prices but based on Sri Lanka prices it is very expensive !

OK Hotel but too expensive

First of all, the hotel was difficult to find as the hotel recently changed its name from pigeon island beach view guesthouse, to the pigeon island beach hotel. However, the signs near the road were not adjusted yet. When we arrived at the hotel the crew did not inform us on the fact that we could make use of the swimming pool of the hotel next door, which we had to find out yourself on the last day. Dinner was also provided in this neighbouring hotel, which was by the way, very good! The private beach would have been great, if it was properly maintained. The rooms were simple but good. Overall, an okay hotel, but rather pricey for what you get for it.
