This place was stunning! I looked at many places before selecting this villa and this place was absolutely the right choice for us.

The villa was lovely and functional and more spacious than we imagined. We had a separate kitchen, wardrobe space and a private bathroom. It came with a private garden. There was a jacuzzi in the garden but we didn’t use it. 

The breakfast was excellent!! We had plenty of fresh fruit and hot options such as omelettes and toast etc. The french toast was delicious! It was the best I’ve ever tasted. We were also impressed at the speed at which breakfast was served, seconds after taking our seats. 

The villa manager took me on a tour of the tropical garden and pointed out many things growing in the garden such as; mango trees, avocados and coffee beans etc. The gardens are impeccable! Thank you so much for the tour.

The team there work incredibly hard and long hours and deserved our appreciation. This place offers real value for money! They helped make our first visit to Negombo a memorable one!

Amazing stay!

Perfect place to start you holiday in Sri Lanka. Negombo as a town is not that great, but to stay and relax at this little hotel (with your own house next to the pool and a great garden) is awesome! We booked the large house with two separate bedrooms (and showers) a little kitchen (which was not so well equipted, but who cares with al the nice restaurants nearby). The owner was really friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we had! Compliments to the chef! It was just a perfect place to get used to the climate, and get rid of the jetlag. We are really happy that we could stay at this lovely place. Highly recommended.

We had a spacious villa with a garden view. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The breakfast is fabulous! Communication with the manager was very friendly.
Location - very good. It's only 400 meters to the beach and various restaurants.

Only stayed two nights but it was perfect.

The most amazing Sujeewani Villas

We stayed 2 nights on arrival in Sri Lanka to acclimatise, it was a great decision. The staff are great, the pool is awesome and the rooms are wonderful; large, airy, plenty of space to spread our 2 energetic young kids out. It's such a beautiful, peaceful setting, only 500m from the beach road and all the restaurants. Easy pickup from the airport and (a few weeks later) from Kandy. I highly recommend it

Awesome rooms, great pool, fantastic for families

The hosts of Sujeewani villa - esp Chana - could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts provided were excellent - fresh fruit (lots of it), freshly squeezed fruit juice (sometimes mango, other passion fruit, other water melon and others), pancakes or sweet French toast and then beautifully cooked omelette or perfect scrambled eggs on toast. All lovely.
The pool is not huge, but ample to freshen up, cool off and have an invigorating swim - albeit that 8 decent front crawl strokes will get you from one end to the other. It wasn't used much by other guests whilst we were there, so most times we had it to ourselves.
Chana arranged transport for us for day trips when required. The shortage of diesel in Sri Lanka (it can take half a day of queuing to fill up) and of course the Sri Lankan driving code - known only to Sri Lankans - and just suicidal to anyone else - means you DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE YOURSELF WHEN THERE. Our driver (Laksitha - aka "Lucky") was however charming, helpful as can be and, in devoting often 12 hour plus days to us with his nice air conditioned van, great value... note he THEN had to queue for diesel after looking after us.
Access to the Ettukala region of Negombo - the bit with most of the bars and restaurants - is a mere 5 minute walk from the villa. Esp recommend Lord's, Queens and Jude - all great. The beach will take another 2 minutes.
All in all, a great base for a holiday in Sri Lanka if you want to travel out but, as many of the prettier bits are a way off (esp in the South of the island) then maybe an even better arrival point for a day or two and a final base before flying home from Colombo airport.

A superb base for arrival and departure and an oasis in the midst of busy Ettukala, Negombo.

We stayed here for about 10 nights, in a two bedroom family studio, with two bathrooms (with shower gel, schampoo, hairdryer...) as well and a combinated livingroom/kitchen with TV, washing maschine, ironing board with iron etc.
Very good air condition in the studio, and ceiling fans. 
Own, cozy balcony with table and chairs.
The studio was very clean with no bugs!

They have a nice pool too.

Great location, in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to a mainstreet with lots of good restaurants and tuktuks. Walking distance to the beach.

Sujeewani Villa has an awesome manager with staff, they loved to help us with everything  we asked for and were very friendly!

The breakfast was fantastic, with lots of food! Fresh fruits, yoghurt, pancakes, roasted bread etc and great coffee! We even got to try the "Sri Lankan" breakfast, with their own specialties, was very tasty!

Nothing bad to mention about this lovely place!

Fantastic villa, all you need!

Sujeewani villa is very pleasant accomodation and located close to the beach while being not along to a busy street, which makes it a very quiet place. The small villas are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The whole staff is very sympathetic and does its best to make guests feel at home. Special thanks to the cook who prepared delicious breakfasts every morning! The proposed massages are amazing (very nice place and well experienced masseurs) and remain at low price.
We warmly recommend this accomodation as a starting point when landing in Colombo airport (20 minutes far away from the villa).

Nice villa in Negombo

For the price you pay this set up was absolutely superb. The pool area is divine and it is a short safe walk to the shops and beach. The staff there are phenomenal, they keep everything immaculate and go out of their way to help- providing spray for the mosquitos and allowing us to check out late as we had an evening flight.

A gem!!

200 m from the beach and restaurants,
 very pleasant and welcoming staff, great breakfast with fresh fruit, rooms / villa spacious clean with air con, lovely garden and pool to relax in.
We will be back !
