We stayed @Sanron guest house last weekend . The place is a small and simple place. the care taker was excellent . Very professional service. Can't imagine how he does all works with no delay. Space is very low. Barely enough for 6 people. Small bath rooms . but very good water supply with hot water. Nice freedom. Chairs & beds are  not that much comfortable. They must think on that. Sitting is not comfortable their. 
But average place. Little high what we paid for the whole offering . I love the beautiful view from Sanron. 

Overnight stay.

Located away from busy Ella junction area in a quiet place.cost about 300 rupees by Tuk to reach the area.the food was really good and it's a good place to camp.make sure bring all your essentials cause there are no shops nearby.

Friendly and good food 

We spent  3 nights there in the middle of August and although it is "a little bit far" (around 20 minutes walk) to the city center it is probably the most beautiful place to live in Ella. In Ella city center there are only pubs and guest houses next to each other - Sanron guest House is located at the top of a quite small housing estate. The view is overwhelming, the terrace and garden lovely with lots of fruits and herbal plants and good for relaxing. Our room was quite clean. We got to know Thissa, the owner, as a man who is very friendly, honest and helpful. The conversation with him was fun, very interesting and thought-provoking - we really enjoyed it! His caretaker doesn't speak much English, but communication works somehow! ;) He's a wonderful cook (preparing typical Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner) and he is very attentive. Every time we returned to the guest house he prepared some tea and sometimes fruits out of the garden. 
To put it in a nutshell: We warmly recommend this wonderful place!!

Wonderful place to stay in Ella

My girlfriend and myself stayed with Sanjeep in August '16 for 2 nights. First of all, he is an absolutely magic cook. Cooked us both breakfast and dinner both nights, and is some of the best food I had in Sri Lanka. 

Place itself was lovely. Great location away from the hustle and bustle. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and fine for what we payed. 

He was very organised and compassionate. It was hard to communicate at times, but once we got savvy with google translate we were on our way! 

Nice tucked away paradise

Beautiful view, silent surroundings, clean rooms, hot water, deliciouse homemade food (curry). Owner was Very helpful in arranging Traveling plans And Next accomod. Housekeeper was also Very nice And care-taking. away from the city. Near to the Tea factory.
