Entirely renewed. Opened a few weeks ago. Peaceful and strategic location for nature lovers. Off the beaten track from the classic touristy hotels. We were lucky to find it. We will come back again for sure. Thank you very much. Recommend it. Gracias!

Just arrived back from the vulcano where we had a fantastic holiday the facilities on the up are amazing fantastic food drinks cocktails,all the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Agoney and Christian can't wait to return in February

Just returned after 4nights stay at the amazing hotel volcano,cannot praise the staff enough,the facilities are amazing and the staff could not have been more helpful would highly recommend this hotel to anyone but you must upgrade to the Up terrace it will take your stay to the next level

Nice swimming pool but the rooms are cold during the night, no staff is present, you need to call them and you have to wait a little until the hot water comes on the pipe. Some restaurants and shops are 10 minutes walking up the hill.

Avoid this place!!!
My wife booked us in here, due to our own apartment been rented out and panicked due to little availability locally.
It up n the hills, no where near a beach, difficult to find, then when you do find it, the reception his not easy to find.
there very little and very tight parking on site.
the rooms are very basic, TV has 3 channels, non in English, and 3 Spanish radio channels.
when walking around, there a smell of drains, even in the cooler winter month's!
Your lucky if there hot water!
But more worrying is on day 2 of our 7 day stay. I left some strawberries in the room, after returning that evening, noticed someone had been eating the strawberries!
a couple of days later my wife noticed some £ coins had disappeared from her bedside drawer, at no time did we leave room unlocked, so had to be someone with a key!
avoid this place, sleep on the beach!

This is a hostel not an hotel

We came here in Jan as we thought a break away after operations Cancer , we thought we will try san miguel , well please dont it was a awful nightmare , yes a holiday from hell , We arrived a woman gave us keys , should us appartment and left, we went to reception everyday but no one ever there, we were looking for towels and  to speak to this woman , we seen her and asked could we be moved as im sick and cant walk up 3 steep steep hills to a town with only 2 cafes and 1 supermarket in it, she said why come here if your sick , i was a bit shocked , she did show us a different appartment which would mean just 2 hills to climb but it had a shared kitchen and that kitchen was filthy dirty , i had to get out fast from the smell of Vomit.she was angry at me and my husband , we exlained we have to sit in a flat all day , she said get a taxi, we did that afternoon which cost 3 40  a 2 min drive in a car but even worse the next day a taxi came and said he came 56 km by the way it took him 3 mins to get to us and then tried to charge us 20 euro along with roaring and shouting at us , i sat in his taxi waiting for my change he started to move the car while i was in it , my husband was pulling me out it was crazy , he then stopped and threw 10 euro at me, I phone the woman who seems to run this horrible place , she text I can not be dealing with  this ive things to do , i was so shocked at these people. I told her i want my money back after 4 days she said if her manager will let her she will give 200 euro and go , i spent all the sunday 2th in bed looking for appartment i could afford, Monday morning at 9 30 a big fat man and this girl was banging on the door roaring open up open up, i was not even dressed, my husband went to open the door he pushed t in and said get out , i was in an awful state , he even went to come in at my husband but the girl pulled him back , he pulled the keys out and said out in 5 mins, I said we will phone police he laughed said no police do anything, i would not be surprised if this was true , i never met such ignorant people in my life, apart from crazy taxi drivers  , dirty appartments , no clean towels, a cold appartment which we had to put a heather on all day and night and the rings of the cooked that worked , A holiday fro Hell is what this pace is, Shame on these pair , one day i know they will suffer two , no i dont want them 2 but these are pure bad people, our holiday ended up costing 1200 , after weeks of phoning them we got 200 euro back, pure scam, Please stay away, go to las americas some apartments are just 100 euro more , but we were left with 90 euro for 10 days food, only for my family put money in m account we would have been hungry. SHAME ON YE , stay away people especially if u are just getting over an illness as these people dont care about nothing only Money, shame shame shame ,No laws in spain do as u want , the girl even laughed when i asked her where was the church, the most horrible place i as ever in and ive done some travelling, I would not go back there id rather go a War zone, stay away please 

Stay away , Discusting, filthy and very bad managnment

We booked this hotel excited for a weekend away together in Tenerife in warm weather. 

Got a taxi from the airport and realised quite how separated this place was from anything. No clear signs to reception so we wandered around for a bit before stumbling across a locked door with a phone number taped to it. We called up and, after a few language issues, were told to go to a different room, and shortly after a lady (who I assumed was the cleaner) came and gave us a key. 

The room itself was clean and adequate, no AC (although not needed in January), no fridge, there was a kettle with small tasteless sachets but we were also given a big bottle of water which was handy. 

After realising quite how desolate the area was, we realised you really really need to have a car to experience Tenerife at this place. We found a shop a 15 minute walk up a very very steep hill and a place that did nice pizzas near there but all else there was to do on foot was climb a big mound nearby. 

Google has told me there is a bus to Los Cristianos by that shop that takes an hour. 

Whilst the room was adequate, we stayed for a few hours before deciding to book another hotel in Playa de las Americas. It’s necessary to have a car when staying here and when checking out the next day, there were still no staff or reception about and we had to check out over the phone, leaving our key in the unlocked room. 

No staff, very remote area, did not finish our stay here. 

If you’ve arrived here unprepared, we made the evening nice by getting a €3 bottle of cava and some candles and sitting in a bubbly bath. Only thing to really do in the evening.

We arrived as was told that there were no rooms, for us? After arguing for 3 hours we were offered and apartment nearby? 1km and although it was more that described in the booking, it was clearly, a friends home, we had no choice but to stay as we were unable to book elsewhere at short notice, as Tenerife in January is busy and we would of had to pay more to change, money we did not have? This is not a good place to stay and will be writing a strong email in complaint shortly

This place is a scam/disaster..

Easy and convenient from the airport so long as you have a car . BUT be warned the carpark  is  suitable for only small cars anything larger than a golf or Panda and you really will be doing a 27 point turn to get out of the multi pillared underground car park .Breakfast was great,  Free wifi and Local restaurants rather  nice.   Over all a quiet and peaceful place to stay  but not the place to go if  you want to party  or be on the beach  all day

Quiet hotel in the hills - You will need a car

Surprisingly Got a nice apartment instead of just a room, but in turn the wifi did not have internet there.
