It is sparkling clean! The hotel is basic, but excellent and up-to-date for its price. It has everything that you need. Moreover, above all, it is QUIET and COOL, because it is located at the ground floor. I was there for three days in July 2018. Madrid was bloody hot at that time, but my room was pretty cool. The owners were friendly and eager to help. Although they don't speak English, they tried to use Google translate to communicate. The location is excellent: close to Metro and many restaurants including a Chinese take out restaurant.
