We stayed here for the third straight year and have booked for next year. The management and staff are very responsive and pleasant. The facility and price can’t be beat. The location can’t be beat: central to the 3 grand museums, Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Santa Ana, Mercado San Mercado and Plaza Mayor. The immediate area has several restaurants of different cuisines.

Highly Recommend 

We stayed in this lovely apartment on Nov 1 for 3 nights and by far the most beautiful place we have stayed in all the places we have been. They have the basics of the usual rental apartments but this is the only apartment we have been that has a "welcome pack"...the basics you need like dish cloth, washing liquid, bin bags, detergent liquid and sponge which you needed..saving you the hassle of going to the shop...they are in small packets and tubes but thats all you needed, very smart indeed..they are a PRO in the business! You wouldn't mind going to the shops though 'coz it's only at the corner and they sell fresh fruits and veg! The apartment is indeed walking distance to everything specially the train station. I didn't mind the slight noise from the neighbor 'coz we can all sleep well...the only slightest fault we noticed was the stinky smell coming out from the main toilet which my husband thinks is from the drainage...he run the water and it seemed to have disappeared otherwise everything went perfect and I will highly recommend the place...by the way there is a Huertas Bar 10 that is just beside the apartment...this certainly is a bonus! If you fancy a nice meal and your coffee or drink,well this is the place...a real value for money! Prices are reasonably good right at your doorstep! We are a family of 2 teens and 2 younger kids and I must say my kids enjoyed the place so well! Thank you Apartamentos Huertas! You made our stay in Madrid an enjoyable and memorable one...Strongly recommend the place to everyone even those with small children...I will certainly comeback to this apartment!

By far the best Apartment I have come across with!

We arrived on a Thursday afternoon between 3-4pm. Probably try to avoid arriving near this time if you pick up keys at the restaurant next door as it is really busy! We stayed on level 4 at a loft apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and suited us for our 2 night stay. It is quite close to some great tapas and bars and walking distance to the metro and surrounds. We love to walk everywhere and the apartment is in a great location to do this. I loved also that this apartment was super quiet, we could open the doors/window and have the ambience flow in or close it for complete silence. This apartment was probably one of the most reasonably priced for the area also. Highly recommended.

Great location

This is a great apartment for the location and accessibility. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is inside. We stayed in a loft at level 4. It’s great value for money and provided us with everything we needed. Highly recommended. Tip*try not to arrive near 3pm, the restaurant where you pick up the keys gets super busy during this time.

Great Location

We were very happy with Apartamentos Huertas.  The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable and the location was fabulous - steps from restaurants and cafes.  We were in studio room 104, probably one of the smaller rooms, but still plenty of room for the 2 of us to spread out.  Nice little balcony and street view.  Good washer and dryer (the dryer was slow but did eventually dry!)  Hot shower.  The shower was slow draining, but management fixed it as soon as we told them.  Only gripes were we could have used more places to put things in the bathroom, and there weren't any hangers in the closet (we got some at El Corte Ingles, but mgmt said they'd add some too.)  Wifi was strong - very important for us - and we had enough outlets for all of our chargers.   A very good value and we would definitely stay here again.

spacious room in great location

Its always a gamble booking a place to stay as we all have different priorities but this booking was a huge success. It was very easy to find from Anton Martin Metro station, the area was great with lots of interesting shops, bars and places to eat.  The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

A great place to stay - very central

after a hectic business trip in Barcelona, the calm and elegant ambience of the apartmentos were a balm.  my studio was huge, with bed, sitting, and full kitchen with all amenities including laundry and dishwasher. The location  is very convenient to the Prado and other museums, all within a few minutes walking distance. There are many bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. The value is incredible. I highly recommend this as a refuge in Madrid And will be staying here again.

Quiet and great value

The apartment was in a nice central location, the bed was comfortable, and the price was a good value for Madrid. Plenty of space in the room for two people, and the balcony, though small, was pleasant for gazing upon the street below. This is worth a stay in order to maximize your budget in the city.

The apartment did have the usual idiosyncrasies that most vacation apartments have, including minor confusion about where to collect the keys (downstairs, by the way), as well as so-so levels of cleanliness. However, I am fairly neurotic about cleanliness, so when I see hair shavings beneath the sink, I get a pit in my stomach. That sort of thing may not bother you. There was also no counter space of which to speak in the bathroom, which was tiny.

Good value for a short city stay

Apartment is modern and well appointed, and easy to find. It is situated on a quiet, narrow street close to supermarkets, dining options and shops. It is a 7-minute walk to the Plaza Mayor and 15 -min walk to the Royal Place in one direction, and to the Prado Museum and Parque del Retiro in the other. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. The main bedroom has an ensuite. The second bedroom does not have a window. There is a fold-out sofa in the living room and a second bathroom. Having the washing machine was great, but it is a washer-dryer combo, and the dryer did not work according to the instruction sheet. The entire apartment including the kitchen were very clean. Marc was very helpful and easy to get in touch with prior and during the stay. The only glitch was that they only supplied one half-roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and there were 5 of us. When we asked for more, we were informed that they only provide what is left from the previous guests, and the rest you need to provide yourself. However, they did give us more on request as we had no idea  of this prior to arrival. So, if you are a large group or family, or are staying longer, BYO toilet paper!

Beautiful apartment close to everything

We loved the place and the staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed.  The added bonus of the bar which had great staff and the food was terrific was an added bonus. The location was central to everything we wanted to do.
