What was good

We've stayed in this hotel several times in the past and have always had a good stay. Its location is perfect apart from its vicinity to the Discos so it can be noisy at night. The staff are very friendly, the service is good and it is not expensive.

What was bad

The place is looking a little "tired" now and although the accommodation and the restaurant are commensurate with the prices, the breakfast is disappointing. On this trip however what really disappointed us was that, during the evening my mobile phone was stolen whilst we were in the hotel café, thus INSIDE the hotel. A man came into the café, approached our table with a piece of paper in his hand (to hide his actions) and before I knew it my phone had gone. We contacted the police who were not really interested but just issued the "crime report". We asked to see the video images (there are two cameras in the café) but the hotel flatly refused the request (which is probably their right) and I doubt that the police even came to have a look either. I've put the incident down to experience but I feel that maybe the hotel should be a little more responsible. We still like Lloret and will probably go back but will probably stay somewhere else from now on.
