Always made welcome here and have stayed twice a year since 2016.  
Frank and Monica are so warm and helpful, we have not considered anywhere else. The other staff are all friendly and pleasant too. It is a good base for visiting the area and a pleasant walk along the coast to the pretty town with plenty of places to eat and drink.


Nice people, clean rooms 

I have stayed several times here over the last four years and each time have found the staff to be very helpful (I do find your approach goes a long way to how people treat how you). 
The towls and bed linen were changed every day, fresh soap and shower gel each day too. Something that amazed me for a hostel.
It MAY not be the cheapest opion and there ARE probably hotels on a similar tarrif but it's near to the new bus station; a lovely 20min stroll from Estapona and has a few lovely cafes diectly opposite.
Carrefour is only a few minutes walka way (another nice eatery there too).
WiFi can be a bit erratic but over the week we stayed it ony went down for an hour one early morning (I had to work so was a small problem for me), but reception was helpful, explaining that "could I wait until someone more knowledgeable came on duty".
It IS a little noisy, being on a main road but at least there are no loud bars or discos going on until the early hours and you can always opt for a mountain view room which is quiter.

I would not hesitate to stay again at the Europa. If it has a pool it would be perfect!!
Balcone/terrace was a good size so a cehap paddling pool would solve that problem on a long stay :)

Outstanding for a hostel

Booking in was quick and easy. The room overlooks the road with a terrace to sit out on if u should so like. The room it's self is more than adequate.  A good double bed with bathroom on suite. A plus from some hostels. 
Close to some eatrys there is a very good Bistro opposite. We used this while staying here. 

Would I recommend Others?  Yes if you want clean cheap (March) accommodation. 

Comfy Hostal

We stayed here one week. We had trouble with our booking but with the owners kind help it was all sorted out. We stayed 2 nights without a balcony and the remaining with a balcony, each on opposite sides of the building.  The staff spoke better English than we do Spanish, so hats off to them! Friendly, helpful owner. Beautiful plants. Comfortable mattresses. Very clean room. Large bathroom with tub, plenty of shelves, and a bidet. Love a bidet! Wifi in the room is very good compared with other places we've been to in Spain.  A little noisy with the motorway, barking dogs, and a rooster on the back side. The street side had a steady drone of traffic all day and evening, but quiet at night. My husband can't have the ac on due to a chronic ear problem, so we have to sleep without ac, which would most likely mask the sound. No complaints though! We picked this place because it was easy to park the car. Nice walk to the city center. Carrefour nearby. 

Hospitality very good!

We stayed at the hostal from 18/2/15 to 23/2/15 and found it very convenient for the motorway.  It is just as you enter Estepona coming from Malaga airport.  I didn't want to be driving around tiny roads and trying to find somewhere to park, this was ideal.  Free parking right outside and free wi-fi too.  Room was basic but clean and beds comfortable. Price is room only but Macdonalds is just a walk away and cheap and cheerful.  The bar was open for coffee in the morning but we liked the walk to get our egg Mcmuffin. Estepona main town was within walking distance although we did take the car once and parked a bit nearer.  A very good restaurant for evening meal was just across the road from the Hostal called the San-Antonio bistro;  lovely fresh food and very reasonably priced. Huge supermarket was just 10 minute walk away too.
