My wife, two young daughters and I have spent the last 10 days at View Grande. It has been an amazing family holiday and we have all loved our time here. View Grande is perfectly situated on Leisure Isle just footsteps away from the Lagoon and our accommodation had been clean, comfy and relaxing. Keith and Liz are great hosts and we've all enjoyed getting to know each other. We'll be back! Austen Kinsley

Amazing family holiday experience

Best accommodation in the heart of Leisure Isle. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The owners made us feel welcome, they would check in on us for any type of assistance. The lagoon is a few meters away from the flatlet. 


Home away from home

Our time at this accommodation was nothing but amazing! The place is beautiful and has everything you need. The host was very friendly we really enjoyed every bit and wish we could stay longer. Would highly recommend if you are on a business trip and need a quite place to say, Vue Grande has really great internet speed and place has very peaceful surrounding as it's away from the from the traffic and busy road. Close to the lagoon and park for family vacation, lots of activities that you can enjoy nearby.

My family and I were due to visit this delightful home on Leisure island during this holiday break - we have heard many great things about this place and Keith’s reputation as an attentive host has been widely shared on many reviews. Sadly, we have had to cancel our trip for medical reasons. Keith was very supportive and understanding, communicating frequently with me to answer any questions and address possible concerns we had. We definitely feel like we have missed out on a lovely family holiday but we do hope to be able to visit sometime soon!

Missed out on a wonderful holiday!!

Vue Grande is the most amazing place to stay while experiencing Knysna and all it has to offer. Being located on the idyllic Leisure Isle with views of the famous Knysna heads and the lagoon right there at your disposal makes for an unforgettable holiday experience.
Leisure Isle is such an amazing place, it's such a tranquil place with loads of beautiful trees and gardens that flow to the waters edge in places. You can walk the whole island and just take in the views, whether along the quiet narrow lanes or along the mud flats at low tide. You can often even walk across to the Knysna heads when the tide is very low. The lagoon is a wonderful place to swim/fish/SUP/water-ski or kayak - name a water activity and you can do it all.
The Vue Grande accommodation is the perfect place to stay while doing all these things - it is spacious, modern and has all the comforts and more of home but with a view in the most amazing setting. 

Vue Grande Leisure Isle Knysna

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Keith and his wife. They led us to our booked room which was beyond our expectation considering what we had previously experienced whereby what you saw on internet differs from what you see when you arrive. The Self Catering apartment was marvelous, spacious and very clean with a well designed kitchenette. The place and atmosphere is so homely and in a quiet area fit for relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely visit again and stay longer and enjoy a boat ride. Keep up and maintain your high standards Keith.

Long weekend at Vue Grande

Having stayed at Vue Grande for a second time (this time for a full week) we were not disappointed. To the contrary, our stay was even more memorable than the last.  This time our son was 22 months old and a very busy little man, who literally took over Vue Grande and Leisure Island with this little scooter bike. One can clearly see all the effort that Keith and Elizabeth puts in every day to offer a luxury establishment and to make all their guest feel right at home. Thank you guys. Thanks also for all your support with our busy little scooter boy. We'll be back soon.

Our second visit

We had a lovely time with Keith and his wife.We really appreciate.

We stayed for a week at Vue Grande.  Apartment spacious and comfortable with full DSTV.   Everything you need is there. Hosts very helpful.  It is very close to the lagoon, paddle skis and bicycles available and a boat trip can be arranged as well.  Will definitely return.
