I think the location it's the only plus for this hotel.
The breakfast it's poor, with low quality products. If you come late, all the "warm" options are cold.
Wifi it's not working.
Parking it's not free.
Cleaning was probably made in a hurry.
Toilet paper? You should bring it from home.

Not worth it

I stayed for a weekend. We chose a superior room...“It is a shame 
the foods was ok, but not so variet
the receptioner give us, a room at the same place whith 50 childs, they was in holiday,but you are in weekend, great mistake

I spent New Year from 2019-2020 here, with my wife and more families. The owner of hotel is a amazing lady, a truely aristrocrat lady, very helpful and very kind !!!
Rooms are big enough, clean, hot water at bathroom, warm in rooms (in winter), good food, very kind waiters !
Small free parking ! 
Free wi-fi !


One of the best hotels from Vatra Dornei

I returned to this location, but I chose a superior room hoping it would be a bit better; I stayed for a weekend. We chose a superior room, consisting of two rooms with two bathrooms. Unfortunately, both bathrooms did not pass the UV lamp test (traces of urine around the toilet bowl), so I was forced to use two liters of sanitary alcohol for bath disinfection. Skirts with visible traces of dirt. In one of the rooms there was a very unstable high lamp (which was also overturned by breaking the lampshade); I announced the incident at the reception but no one came to clean the room (normally I paid for this incident). What if a child was in the room ???? The rooms were with the thermostat on the radiator in the open position and I set the temperature in the room opening the door to the balcony. Good cosmetic products for a 1 * hotel. The first night we waited about an hour to warm up the water and take a shower. The room was with access to the pool, but I quit swimming because it was the dirtiest pool seen in my life (very cloudy water and a tough smell). The meal was served in the hotel restaurant Calimani, a restaurant with good menu for locations 1-2 *, not 3 * !!

Check in se face cu intarziere, camere micute , dotate cu mobilier modest, televizoare vechi, fara ac,parcarea nu este gratuita, mult prea scump pentru ce oferă ....
We had to wait for check-in for almost 3 hours because our rooms wasn't cleaned in time. 
Small rooms with humble furniture, no AC, old school TV set. The parking isn't free. No WiFi all around the hotel. Too expensive for what it offers. Definitely not a 3 star quality hotel.


Not the best choice 

Vatra Dornei was on our 12 days tour ride route, and we booked the Bradul Hotel for 1 night after reading the few reviews on TripAdvisor. On arrival, we got a detailed explanation about the pool and breakfast hours (very short), and got the key to our room.
The room was made of a bedroom and a living room old style, two bathrooms, 2 TV's with many English speaking channels and a refrigerator. No air conditioning. There were 2 balconies facing the park.
When stepping into the balconies, you can see that the building is actually  deteriorating, no maintenance.
There was no hair drier, and when my wife went down to the front desk to ask about it, she was told that the hotel has only one, and she might get it later (never happened).
Morning came, and no hot water in the tabs, even though we ran them for a few minutes. We decided to skip showers and on our way to breakfast asked, and were told that hot water are available between 0730 - 1130 in the morning only, and you need to run the tabs for at least 30 minutes !!! No one bothered to let us know that on check in.
Breakfast was modest.
We checked out and asked that the manager will contact us when he arrives later on, but no one bothered.
What a strange hotel !

Hot water ? Wait 30 minutes at least !

Decided to go to Vatra Dornei to enjoy snow and skiing. Wanted to travel on low budget and picked up 3 star hotel. This hotel was located not far from main slope were we could and go skiing. It was very cold so we had to drink a lot of hot mulled wine to stay warm. It was fun after all. Rooms were comfortable and very modest: It had all the necessary thing you need during your stay! Bar was not for free, and TV set was pretty ancient - but there were plenty of channels in different languages in case you might want to watch TV. Staff does not speak English too good, but they are friendly.  We did enjoy atmosphere and this place left great memories and made a good impression.

Winter vacation 2017

We spent the New Year Holidays with a group of friends at this hotel and were pleasantly impressed: the hotel is very comfortable, nice rooms, good bathrooms, the overall design is simple but with a lot of good taste. Although 3 stars hotel, it is as nice as a 4 stars, including the pool, Jacuzzi and sauna areas. Also, the hotel location is very good, both for ski lovers and for people who just want to enjoy the beauty of the Bucovina winter.
The dining room is nice and the cooks are very good, the food was excellent on all occasions. In the holidays package we had two parties, New Year and Carnival – and both were a success: nice decorations, good music, all the dishes served were at the level of a very good restaurant. They also invited one of the greatest stars of Romanian folk song (Sofia Vicoveanca), who was part of the New Year entertainment. 
The staff is a little slow and not very fluent in English, however very kind and always willing to serve and help.
I would also like to mention the local bus company “Sincarom” with whom we got from Iasi to Vatra Dornei in private bus; we also hired from them a minibus and local guide for a daylong trip around Bucovina. Very professional and good natured people!
