If you like places that offers a sense of history, but with all comfort one needs in a self-catering place, than this villa is the one you are looking for. Although it is about 4 km from the beach the small mini-bus station is just round the corner and operates every 7 minutes and takes you right on the sandy beach. There is a small shop next door, but really, there are no distances in Sulina town.
The town itself is excellent for those who like history and can see behind the deserted and ruined houses. Otherwise you should choose another location. We chose this place because we wanted not only to see the spectacular wild life of the Danube Delta but wanted also to relax on the beach and have fun with our children. And I don't know, maybe we chose the right time of the year, but there were no mosquitoes! Ok, I saw one. :)

A beautifully renovated house in a place with fascinating history

Beautiful house, all comfort and facilities ( you can feel the hand of the architect  owner). 3 km from beach, mini market  next door, beautiful garden with grill, jacuzzi, sauna. If you can go with friends to take the whole house (5 rooms)...is better :). And, the most beautiful blu eyes cat, Sara

The most beautiful place to stay in Sulina 

It started well, my room on the top floor was great, ventilated and cosy,
Instead, my parents in law 's room was the only one the pension offers from ground level and it was very humid: the floor, the walls, the bathroom, the sheets were impregnated with moist....was not in a good condition to spend 2 nights in there.
When we requested insistently to change their room, their were behaving quite nasty, not trying to help at all, not caring and saying they are waiting a group pf tourists..

The landlord was also hding the fact that there was wifi, and after discovering and restaring their routers, they offered "willigly" the password.

This seem to be one of the most expensive place in Sulina but honestely the treatment you get there is not the nicest.

Not quite what one expects to be treated like

Surprising  me this by inducing sensation of back in time, due to the extraordinary success  keeping specific atmosphere and intimacy of a home from the "Europolis" time of Jean Bart, amid the current needs of today's comfort access ...
Maybe it would be necessary to install several nameplate on access roads to the location, which unfortunately has a small views of the Danube ... but it can not be considered a "must" as long as  your holiday at Sulina will be spent mostly "outdoor" ...
