All you can really admire here is the view!!
Really perfect lake view and good close sensation to the water! 
If not even the coffee is good fragrance , haw to ask for a good food or more than this?? My coffee was not good and i just admire the good view becouse the rest are not good, sorry. The good thing is that you can make it better, with such a view there are many of us who are coming for a quiet nice lake view!! 
Go there for a water or ... take something and without expactations for good food


I invite you here just for the view!!

We sat on a terrace overlooking the water . We had homemade chicken soup that rivaled my grandmas . Then we had baked chicken so tender you could cut it with a fork with delicious turmeric seasoned potatoes. We loved it 

Great place for lunch

We were having a dinner. We order as starter “icee” - fish eggs. There were not fresh and the color was questionable. As a main course we order “salau” (fish) and my partner the traditional “mici” (mixed meat). The fish was tasteless and the mici were uncooked... I will definitely recommend the place for a drink and for the view ... and for sure not for the food. It is better to go there with full stomach 🙂 and with a good photo camera 📷 

Good for the view ... bad for the food 

We went here for a meal after a family day out because of the nice setting. I wish we hadn't. All the meat was cooked from frozen and dryer than the Sahara desert. Food was cold and generally of minor quality. The best was the green lettuce but be prepared to create your own dressing. Don't come here if you look for quality food.

Restaurant food all frozen

I have been to the restaurant of the hotel, near the lake. The food is acceptable, the personnel the same. Nothing impressive, a bit neglected. The view with the lake makes it better, especially in the evening. 

Ok-ish restaurant 

We flew into Romania around 3 pm and drive to Snagov to find Dolce Vita hotel. There were hardly any signs for the hotel and we ended up getting lost a couple of times. When we did find the hotel there was no one in reception who spoke English and they didn't have our reservation. Through pantomime we were able to secure a room for the night and then tried to order dinner. That was another adventure until the Chef came out of the kitchen, he spoke English well enough to help us out. The best thing about our stay was dinner and breakfast.

Can use some work.

The property is very run down. We had to find a waiter for checking in (there was never anybody present at reception). They asked for Lei 250 instead of the confirmed Lei 200. Only after an unpleasant discussion did they agree to the original Price. The room was unclean, the balcony had obviously not been cleaned for Ages. Wort of all was next morning when we wanted breakfast. The so-called breakfast room was initially unlit, dark and untidy. The cheap chipboard table had no cover (neither paper nor linen) and the waitress spoke no English so ordering was a Problem. The staff was obviously enjoying THEIR breakfast with bottles of beer! Walking along the lake front was impossible because fencces of neighboring properties kept peole out.

The view of the lake from the balcony of our room was great.
