Hostel Sailor

We spent 5 nights at Hostel Sailor and we had a great time. The location is 10-15 minutes by foot from the train station, towards the outskirts of Mangalia, on the road to Vama Veche. The room was very cosy and clean with cable tv, AC, bathroom, a small fridge and even a fully functional phone. Every day the maid cleaned the room so the atmosphere was always fresh. The best advantage of this hostel is its location, only 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the lovely port of Mangalia where beautiful yachts are anchored and where you can either enjoy the splendid view or you can fish for sea gudgeon, if passionate. There are a lot of shops, banks and restaurants near by, so Hostel Sailor is the right choice if you want to spend some time in Mangalia. The staff is very friendly but you need to chase them a bit to find out where exactly the reception is. Overall, we had a really great time there and if possible, we will gladly return.
