Loved staying here during the Neversea festival! Best place to stay in Constanta. You reach everything in few steps: the city centre, lots of restaurants and cafes, aaand the beach!   Clean rooms and bathrooms, staff very kind, welcoming and helpful!

Best for a citybreak

I only stayed at this hotel for one night and it exceeded my expectations. It’s 10-12 min away from the beach, lots of banks and restaurants nearby.
The room was spacious and clean, the bed is big and the mattress is very comfortable.
In the room you will find a private bathroom, TV, mini fridge, dresser.
The staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. I will definitely return and I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Read such a real evaluation (see all the pictures carefully):

Tax evasion (with a fantastic audacity: "if I knew you put it this way ..."), the receptionist, disturbed by the insistence of the request for the payment receipt, offered us another receipt, invoiced to someone else.

Accommodation conditions for maximum 2 stars with indulgence (I attach some pictures from the room - although it looks from the '80s - I failed to photograph the bed cover - they are indeed from August 2021)

Mold in the shower, toilet paper really touching the wall, pexal pipes visible through the room, never ever cleaned ventilation, unsafe bathroom (missing) doorknob handle, probably mounted from another door, towel rail (other than appearance) broken on one side, refrigerator from the golden age ('80s), same for furniture, and what can' t be seen in the pictures, 1 socket next to the bed was removed from the wall and another 2 sockets positioned at about 2.5 m (accessible only by climbing on the chair) probably to discourage electricity consumption.

Evaziune fiscală (cu un tupeu fantastic: "daca stiam ca puneti problema asa..."), receptionera, deranjata de insistenta cererii bonului fiscal, ne-a oferit, un alt bon fiscal, facturat altcuiva. 

Conditii de cazare de maxim 2 stele cu indulgenta (atasez cateva poze din camera - desi arată a anii '80 - am omis sa pozez si învelitoarea de pat- nu, sunt din August 2021)

Mucegai in cabina de duș, hârtie igienică realmente lipită de perete, tevi de pexal la vedere prin camera, aerisire necurățată vreodată, mâner clanță baie fara siguranță, montată probabil de pe o altă ușă, suport prosoape (dincolo de aspect) rupt într-o parte, frigider din epoca de aur, mobilier pe măsură, si ceea ce nu se vede in poze, 1 priza de langa pat era scoasa din perete si alte 2 prize pozitionate la aprox 2.5 m (accesibile doar urcand pe scaun) probabil pentru a descuraja consumul de electricitate.

Avoid this UGLY place!

This little hotel has a great location: close to the Modern beach and to the old town.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. If you are coming to this area you will not be spending a lot of time in the room. The bed was great and we had a good night sleep.
There are restaurants and shops in the area if needed.
For parking there are some free parking places, but you cannot reserve one so it depends on the time you arrive( in full season can be harder)

If you are looking for a high class hotel this is not the place, but if you are looking for great value and good location I can recommend this one.

Good place to stay for a few nights

Hotel central it s situated wright in the heart of Constanta,200m to reach the beach,500 m to reach the old town.The rooms are very clean and a rustic look.The host is very polite and you feel very welcomed.

It s the best place to stay

Villa Central is a nice place to stay in Constanta city. It is close to the beach. Nearby You can find many shops.
Room are very clean and big. Great staff. Great service makes the difference.
I definitely recomand this place.

A great place to stay near black sea

We found a large clean room. 
But the big bed has no sheets at its size.. So small that it was ridiculous. 
After that the bed was the hardest i have ever see. It was hurtfull.. Worst than camping directly on rocks and I have Nevers thought it was possible . It made us awake many times in the night. Furthermore, the sun Comes through the Windows and its small certains at 7 in the morning Just to make sure you have à bad night.
 
The bathroom was not clean...  Mould everywhere. 

The final matter was that they dont accept crédit card. It was 55€ and they rouding down the price to 247 Ron from 447,56 Ron...  Éven in romania it was the first time. 

Of course, they refuse to issue an invoice...  And so the famous BON Fiscal. 

Just Advice, sleeping in Your car Will be better.

The shortest night

Villa Central is an excellent choice of lodging if you are staying in Constanta. I had a truly excellent stay at this hotel. The location is good, central, close to numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, banks, shops, even a local beach. The famous Mamia beach and boardwalk is only short cab or bus ride away. I walked there numerous times to take in the city.

The room was clean and well-furnished. I chose a cheaper, single room. However, the hotel offers numerous types of rooms, larger rooms ideal for couples, or even suites for entire families. And all of these rooms were much nicer and more affordable than other hotels in the area.

All of these amenities were great, but what really made Villa Central such a wonderful place to stay was the people who worked there. Every member of the staff was incredibly hospitable and helpful. They always made sure my room was tidy and that I had everything I needed. They all spoke terrific English and they were just plain kind, all the time. Each morning the hotel cook, a very nice guy, prepared me an excellent breakfast.

The young couple who own and manage the hotel were some of the kindest and most charming people I have ever met and I'm proud to say they are now good friends of mine. They went to great lengths to insure I had a wonderful stay in Constanta. They drove me to various local spots, took me to lunch,  took me to the beach, and made sure I got to see all the parts of the city I wanted to see. They drove me all over. They even took me to the train station on my last day. Overall, they made my stay at the Villa Central so enjoyable that I extended my stay in Constanta by several days. I was originally only going to stay for a weekend. I ended up stay for almost a week. The room was very affordable, so extending my stay was easy and inexpensive. I met some guests who liked the hotel so much, they made Constanta their holiday destination each and every summer.

Long story short, don't waste your money staying at a resort hotel in Mamia. It's the hot spot, but it's also one of the most expensive places in all of Romania and it's a tad isolated.

Stay in the city center at the Villa Central. You won't regret it.

And I recommend visiting Constanta in the summer. That's the best time. The beaches were insane.
