What was good
Hotel is located in an excellent position, just in the centre of Santa Fe and very close to Kota beach. The restaurant inside Amihan is excellent thanks to chef Filippo and his amazing Italian dishes. All the personnel is very kind, caring and helpful The cabanas are located on the beach with an amazing sea view. Beds are very comfortable. Toilets too with hot water in the shower (not so common in the Philippines). Mosquito net for the beds should be larger to fully cover the bed though. Room are cleaned everyday and 4 towels replaced daily. Manager, Chef and all personnel are very kind, caring and helpful. We stayed 10 nights in December 2020. One night, the owner invited some of his friends in the resort and they kept music very loud, making impossible for us to sleep. They stopped only when I went to complain at 2am. However as first thing on the next morning, the Manager came to apologise and offered us free meals and drinks, along with free scooter to go around the island, for the whole day. Also the music has never been loud anymore at night in the next days of our stay.
What was bad
The sea in front of Amihan is good but, being in an open area, it is more affected by the currents and then waving most of the time. However just few minutes walking away there is Kota beach where sea is more calm. Also the best beach and sea in the island (Paradise Beach) is just 20 minutes of scooter away.
