This is a very basic hotel. The room was spacious and bed comfortable, however there was a lot of mould growing on the walls and water came up through the tiled floor in the bathroom. I travelled with a friend and in her room the window which was in the bathroom looked out into the corridor. She was in the shower and a man could see her from the floor above. There was no blind to close so she was exposed. So if you do stay here be careful with what room you get.
There is wifi but it was very in and out of signal. The room is also extremely hot. There os a fan so if you sleep directly under it you are okay. However I am sure that is the same in all of the hotels in the area as the temperatures are extremely high.
If I was to return to Puerto Maldonado,  I would not book this hotel again.

Basic and very hot in the room!

The room is big, clean with excellent matresses and a van.The staff is very friendly and they have mineral water to fill your empty bottles. Good value for not a lot of money. Good breakfast. Not far from the Mercado Modelo, a 15 minutes walk. Recommended!

Excellent hotel for little money

That i forgot the comments about the disco. Whether it was next door or in the next room the reality was not the most peaceful of nights.

It does not close particularly early either.

I have no idea why Saturday night was quieter that Friday (relatively).

I read so many establishment reviews

Not expecting too much from a hostel in a destination at the far end of Peru we were surprised by the well equipped rooms, the best we have seen up till now on our journey through Peru. Things we consider as luxury by now like hooks in the bathroom to hang your towel and lamps at each side of the bed were there and did work! 
The rooms were very clean and well kept. 
I feel ill and they did everything to help us, even moved us from our booked standard room to a superior room where I could have more tranquility with no additional cost. 
Only downside is the location: it is very far from the town centre, about half an hours walk and if you don't know which route to take not so nice surroundings. 
But the warmth and cordiality of the staff was really overwhelming and made up for the inconvenience of the situation!
