Hostal Hikari

Estuvimos 8 noches en este hotel simple pero muy bien manejado. Queda en la calle San Jose a dos cuadras del Parque Principal. Parece ser de dueños peruano-japoneses. Excelente actitud. Si pides algo que no ofrecen, encuentran manera de satisfacer tu pedido. El empleado de la Recepción muy atento, formal y sabe tratar al huesped. Los que lo reemplazaron en la noche o sábados, igual de educados. Habitación limpia y cómoda. Baño como debe ser. Desayuno en la azotea magnífico, incluso tuvimos que enseñarles cómo hacer huevos a la inglesa, y no sólo aprendieron sino lo hacían con gusto todas las mañanas. (El wi-fi es bueno dentro de lo que uno puede tener en el centro de Chiclayo). Linda experiencia. Ahí regresamos en el próximo viaje. A continuación traduzco este texto al inglés, porque si no, Tripadvisor lo traduce horriblemente y ni se dan cuenta que el significado cambia. ---------- We spent 8 nights in this simple little hotel, which is very well managed. It's on Calle San Jose, two blocks from Chclayo's Main Square. It seems to be owned by Peruvian-Japanese people. Excellent attitude. If you ask for something they don't have, they will find the way to satisfy your need. The Reception Desk's clerk is very polite, formal and knows how to deal with his guests. His substitutes at night and on Saturdays were also very correct. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was like bathrooms should be. Breakfast at roof top was great; in fact, we even had to teach them how to do eggs sunny-side-up with a soft yolk, and not only did they learn, but also, they were very pleased to fix them every morning. (Wi-Fi was as good as one can find in downtown Chiclayo). A beautiful experience. We will return there on our next trip.
