I spent the night here before going into Machupicchu. They were warm and friendly. There was loud deconstruction going on across the railroad track so they put me on the river side. I also had lunch there. Their English wasn’t great but better than my Spanish! Would highly recommend them.

Great service 

We got into Agua Calientes around 5pm and checked into Adela’s. It was super close to the train station and also super close to the bus station that takes you up to Machu Picchu. Which was really convenient with our big backpacks. Our room had a window that directly overlooked the river that runs through Agua Calientes and the mountain behind it, which was beautiful. We had tickets to Machu Picchu the next day at 6 am, so after we checked in we walked up to the hot springs which are about a ten minute walk along the river, Then grabbed some dinner before returning. In the morning complimentary breakfast was served starting at 5 am so we grabbed a bite to eat before we caught our bus up the mountain. They also gave us coffee to go and allowed us to store our bags there while we hiked Machu Picchu for the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 

Perfect for a place to stay before or after Machu Picchu

In view of our excursion to Machu Picchu, we booked a room in this facility, considering the proximity to the station and the shuttle stop that would take us to our destination. The choice turned out to be short, also because the train arrived at Aguas Calientes at 23:00, then in the middle of the night, and the owner was already going up and down the tracks calling us by name. Our room was of reasonable size, clean, essential, and so on for the bathroom; early in the morning we were served breakfast, coffee, marmalade and bread.

Simple, clean, very comfortable!

The place has a good location (well the city is very small everything is nearby) but I must admit that this time I was taken by the photos of the page where I made the reservation, on arrival, I was logically disappointed, the beds very small, something hard. Everything left at the reception, where you arrive and note that what comes next will not improve and so it was, I can't deny the beautiful view of the river (if you look in a panoramic view and not directly downwards (where you see all the accumulation of materials and garbage) The room is of the right size, the bathroom is also good enough even though the ventilation is bad. in short, it is a hostel with a hotel price *** Come back? no, no, no, no. No. No. No. No. Depends on what you are looking for, If it is standard 3 stars or higher, you can't recommend this place.

There is no going back.

We spent a night here, just before going to Machu Picchu. The bedroom and the bathroom are simple but clean, and that was enough for our purpose. The position is optimal, 1 min from the bus station that brings you up to Machu Picchu, and a couple of minutes from the center of Aguas Calientes. The hostel is on the railway, but it's not actually a problem since at night there aren't trains passing by. The owner is really friendly, and helped us to get the tickets for the bus, because we arrived late with the train and the box office was closing.
You can have breakfast early in the morning if you have the first scheduled entrance. 

We also tried their restaurant that is just below the Hostel and surprisingly it's really good and cheaper than the others that we have seen around Aguas. 

Good position and a friendly owner

To spend the night and be able to rest from the ascent to MachuPicchu is ideal. All by hand. Train station is 2 minutes away. Bus stop to climb the mountain in 2 minutes. Very good location. The room we stayed in on the river and despite being basic, we could rest well. Very well located two minutes from the train station and two minutes walk from the bus stop in MachuPicchu. The room was on the river, it is basic but we rested very well. The trains pass through the door but with the noise of the ascent we never felt missed. Very good experience.

Basic with very careful attention.

Small, dated structure and like many others located halfway between stream and railway.. therefore will not let you sleep peacefully!! Tiny bath with not always warm water and beds with thick wool blankets so as not to endure the cold of the night. The rooms should be reviewed as well as the cleaning in general. Owner and staff are very courteous and available; keep baggage free during the visits to the Machupicchu. Good and abundant breakfast. Quality/price ratio in line with that of the other facilities in the vicinity. Good as a support point for the night before visiting the Machupicchu.

It's all right for one night.

Our room was above the train tracks and right in front of a few houses so if you want a minimum of privacy you have to close the curtains.

Very noisy.

We only use the service of the restaurant! It has promotions of a la carte meal for 20 soles and dinner a hamburger and drink for 15 soles!! All with very good season and HERE IT IS CHILE!! For lovers of the spicy!! Even chicken pie makes you! The owner's attention is excellent as well as that of his staff!

Excellent food!

We were there just over night because Machu Picchu but everything was fine. Nice room, clean, hot shower and wifi.
Hotel is very close to bus station to machu Picchu so it was also fantastic for our early morning trip. They gave us all information which we needed and also arrange us breakfast 05:00 in the morning before trip.
He had room opposite side of building so we didn´t heard train which is going through city and we heard instead of it river so slept well.

I cannot say anything against. We were there just over night and everything was perfect.
