Definately "the highway" motel , emmaculate kept grounds, clean swimming pool, room is spacious, has all the essentials. Offers laundry wash and dryer, coffee van just down the road along with kuripuni village to walk to for dining.

Sent a email advising I would be late because of the boat, 2 nights later when I arrived Mark was waiting for me and give me a milk shake, very good service  the room was very clean the bed prefect ,tea and coffee . Above our expectation

Very obliging

We spent a night here with our little dog. It was so good to be able to have him with us and he got to play with several other 4 legged guests. Our room was very warm but had everything we needed. We will definitely stay there next time we are down that way. 

Our dog loved it

We recently stayed here for 4 nights in a standard studio unit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The unit was clean, tidy and spacious. We'd definitely stay here again if we needed accommodation whilst passing through the area. The motel is within walking distance of some shops,bars, and a small cinema. The nearby Tripoli restaurant served amazingly good food at reasonable prices.

EXCELLENT BUDGET ACCOMMODATION

Excelent hosts, amenities and great location for sight seeing. Mark and Tanya are very good to deal with, always obliging and helpful.

Amenities provided are tidy and adequate. We were a group of 9 and we all enjoyed the stay.

Nice relaxing stay.  Comfy bed and very awesome shower.
Very clean and tidy room.  Well set out as well.
Friendly chatty owners, which in my eyes, is always a bonus. .
It was wonderful finding a motel where I could have my dog as well.  I always take her when I travel as she is such a social well behaved girl.

Pet friendly

By booking a middle range motel, I wasn't expecting to be pleasantly surprised. Firstly by the welcome and attention by the proprietors. The room was comfortable and cosy with good heating. Shower- great pressure & plenty of hot water. Bed comfortable, linens spotless. In fact the whole unit was spotlessly clean. I guess the decor is a little dated, but they're obviously working on that.  

Surpassed expectations.

Arrived in Masterton and needed a night for myself and two children.  Easy to find, we were in a room at the back of the motel complex of which was very quiet.  Was on a busy road.  Stayed in a studio with a Queen and sofa bed.  Was the cheapest of the motels we enquired about when we had pulled over on the side of the road entering Masterton for a overnighter.  

Stayed for an overnighter

Easy to find on the left as you enter Masterton on the main road from the South. Friendly service but our room was overdue for a lick of paint. Good size. All we needed as we were out most of of the time. Reasonably clean, but wife found a cockroach (or it found her!). Back from the road and quiet. 

Convenient budget motel

We stayed here for one night and just needed a comfortable bed and room for the night. This motel barely delivered that. They couldn't even extend to a small bar of soap, instead only offered a very basic soap dispenser on the wall. Certainly no sign of shampoo let alone a shower cap. Very tired looking room in need of some paint.
