Villa Walton was an absolute DREAM to stay at. We wish we had been there for 2 nights instead of 1. The hosts were delightful. We stayed in the Walton Cottage which was super clean and cozy with a private kitchen. We notified the hosts before our arrival our desire to have dinner with them as well as takeaway lunches on the day we checked out. All the meals we had there were absolutely amazing: steak dinner was a chiefs kiss, the breakfast was a favorite of our trip, and the takeaway lunches were perfect for our day in the car. 100% recommend Villa Walton!!

Excellent hidden gem in a wonderful part of the world. Very peaceful and exquisite landscape .5 Star hospitality from Neil & Sue who make the most amazing dinners and absolutely must try the breakfast with homemade bread and cooked big breakfast.And the star of the show is Teddy the very cute dog 😊

Great getaway

Excellent host’s Neil & Sue very accommodating and friendly awesome service from homemade Dinners to delicious breakfast. Absolutely truly  wonderful experience in a little slice of heaven location.

Beautiful B&B with absolutely lovely rooms and decor and fixtures—- everything is so cozy and well done. Gardens are gorgeous, hosts are amazing and it was so fun that they had a moment to have a glass of wine with us! Great conversation and evening. I like to think we could be friends if we lived closer! We wish our travel agent had booed us for a few nights with them instead of just one. Make sure and arrive on time and not late so you can truly enjoy the home and space and the garden. You don’t want to rush in and out for sure. Also to Neil— my husband wanted to let you know he found and safely secured for passage the Awildian purple gin you recommended.

Lovely and perfect in every way!

Favorite place we’ve stayed…ever?I can’t recommend the Villa Walton enough. It’s so beautiful and well looked after, the gardens are stunning. We stayed in the cottage and had everything we wanted, the secluded outdoor tub was lovely!The food was amazing. I think I ate more breakfast here than I have in my entire life. My wife and I have dietary restrictions and Sue   Neil were extremely accommodating and thoughtful. Everything was delicious and I wish we stayed longer!We’ll definitely be back for another slice of heaven!

What a fabulous place - wish we had stayed longer. Room lovely, gardens truly spectacular, and Neil and Sue (and Ted the dog) wonderful hosts and had great blether with them over breakfast (which was exceptional). We stayed here whilst visiting Hobbiton but would have been great to stay an extra night.

Spectacular gardens and wonderful hosts

What a great place to stay! Sue, the owner, is so welcoming and really went above and beyond. The house is absolutely beautiful and so are the grounds. I took dozens of photos. The gardens are filled birds singing and beautiful flowers. The room itself was beautifully decorated and had an extremely comfortable bed and very nicely decorated ensuite. This is a wonderful place to stay a romantic getaway. Sue is also a great cook! The very large breakfast she made for us was fantastic. I highly recommend a stay here!

Amazing stay! Would highly recommend for couples looking for a great b&b! We love the breakfast and hospitality!

This was the most beautiful B&B I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail with the decor, the bedding, the dishes, EVERYTHING, made you feel like you had walked into a modern-day Austen novel. The host was extremely accommodating and lovely. The views from the windows and porches were simply stunning. I could not recommend this place more.
