7 reviewsI don't really want to write this review as everyone will then know about this delightful hotel but I think it deserves some exposure. The hotel was originally developed from mud huts in the village and has come along way since then . It is now an individual restful environment with a charm of its own. Beautifully equipped, tastefully decorated and a very atmospheric dining area. Breakfast can be taken by the pool when weather permits. Food is beautifully presented and tasty. Alcohol is available. Log fires at the bar and in the rooms if required. There is a resident weaver who sells rugs etc made by himself and other local artists so you can even take a bit of Morocco home with you Wi-fi available in the bar area but it was very intermittent while we were there. there was also a planned power cut for 6 hours but that effected all of Marakech ! Only downside (for some) is that it is based in a small Moroccan village with no amenities. However free shuttle bus to Marrakech except for on Sundays. Trip is about 25 minutes each way. Would be ideal setting for wedding /yoga retreat or as for us a base for a photography holiday :-)
