Abderrahim was a fantastic host. Very accommodating.

Nadir Home Riad is beautiful and full of chatacter in both the rooms and communal areas.  It is tucked away and peaceful. I had so much space in my room for just myself as the room also included a lounge area.  The host went out of his way to help me get to where I needed to be for the following day.  I would definitely stay here again.

This riad is excellent in all aspects except one thing. The owner is a very kind man who is gracious and welcoming.The apartment itself is wonderful. As a solo traveller, I had four small rooms all to myself: a bedroom, two sitting rooms, and a private bathroom. It fulfilled my expectations of a traditional stay in Marrakech. Absolutely beautiful.The breakfast was simple and tasty. The only downside of this property is that it is quite hard to find. On my first trip to Marrakech, I arrive later in the evening, and I had to find the place after dark. It is down a long, low-ceilinged alleyway that is tucked away in a corner. It does not show up properly on google maps. The property sent me a message to this effect, but I still did not have an adequate map and had trouble finding it. However, once I had arrived, everything else was perfect.I would highly recommend this property, and I will definitely stay here again if I return to Marrakech.

this place is so beautiful and such good value. we stayed in the family room which had a lounge room and two bedrooms with the bathroom upstairs. the decor is exquisite & breakfast was great. the location is good too as it's only a 10 minute walk to the main square. it's a bit hard to find. we arrived at night so it was a bit difficult. be wary of locals trying to offer their help because even if they say they won't charge you, they will and won't go away until you do. I would stay here again. 

beautiful budget riad

The Nadir Home is basic accommodation compared with other riads I have stayed in.Firstly, it's very difficult to find, down a long series of twisting alleyways which turn into low tunnels at some points (not very inviting). Returning after dark was not too bad for me and my adult son, but might be more trying for lone women or anyone with children. In the late evening, the souks are full of youths offering to 'guide' you and then demanding money. The breakfast is as basic as the property. Coffee and a few pancakes/toast and jam/honey. Er, that's it.The shower is a handheld affair and there is NO LOCK (at all!) to your room.That said, it was clean, the beds were comfy and the host was reasonably helpful (although his English is limited).

So we arrived on Friday afternoon to no electricity and also no hot water. We weren't welcomed as the staff spoke no English and we were given no key given no information regarding anything. We had our bags taken from us by some Moroccan gypsy that demanded £16 from us for carrying our bags that we had no choice over. Breakfast was atrocious and I advise people to stay clear it's a hell hole. We left a day early as we couldn't stay there any longer. It was a damp, dirty hell hole.

On arrival we were shown in after being ripped off by the guy who took our bags he demanded 200 dirhams and if we didn't pay he promptly told us " it was very dangerous at night around here " there was no electric when we arrived no one spoke one word of English , we didn't have a clue what was going on , we were shown to our room which we had to access in the dark , we were not told anything about what time breakfast was or what time we had to be in as you do not get a key you have to knock on the door to be let in ( you could be stood there for 2 mins or in our case 10 mins ) when the electricity finally came on the next day we could see what a dump our room was ! The light in the bathroom didn't work , the sheets were stained and the netting that went around the bed was full of dust ! Absolutely disgusting place ! Now I understand that this is a raid and you are basically living with a family but this was on another level ! We didn't even know who the staff were ! On the Friday eve there were about 5/6 men just wondering around ? The room we were in you had to access through a window ? Really a window ! No locks on the doors no safe ! I went down to breakfast without my partner to be told that I couldn't have breakfast alone as it was for two people ? What ? Never in my life have I been told that ! So I had to go and wake up my bf just so I could get a coffee ! We left a day early ! Seriously do not bother ! Oh and we had no hot water the whole time we were there ! 

Hell on earth 

No English speaking people in this Riad. You have to knock to get in. Our first night, the caretaker would not even let us in and he spoke no English at all. No air conditioning. Loud and they let us stay in a dingy room on the first floor. Phones ringing all night. You are awaken by people talking really early. Last night, we had to pay city tax (they were charging 40dh/person/night) and this is based on rating of the hotel and our relatives who stayed at Riad Farhan (highly recommended) nicely decorated, big and air conditioned room charged only 25 dh/person/night and most of all English speaking and helpful staff. After long discussion they agreed to give us the lower rate. Overall, I will never come back here and DO NOT recommend this at all.

Raid has no pool even though they advertised this! All there was was rubble. No AC in one room and no lighting in another room. Courtyard had no lighting and we were advised that the reason for this was due to engineer issues. Service awful. The man was more interested in talking on his phone! Absolutely awful...my kids began to cry...we had to leave.
