We were proud to be among the first guests to Al-Bushra after the long Covid travel interruption, and owners Gary and Steve could not have been more welcoming.  Their riad is artfully decorated, immaculately clean, and makes for a comfortable stay. The location is a short walk to the action of the souks, yet on a peaceful side-alley.  And Gary was very helpful when our travel plans went sideways - he actually learned that our flight was cancelled before we did and reached out to us about ground transportation.  Breakfast was excellent, and served on a beautiful terrace.  Overall, we could not have been happier.

Lovely stay in 2021

Our second time here and a fantastic stay. A beautifully decorated oasis in the old part of the city. Opulent serenity despite the hustle and bustle outside. Attention to detail from the owners made us feel really spoilt. Will go back.

Exquisite relaxation

This is a space of calm within walking distance of much of Marrakech that you would like to see.  The owners look after you, providing ample breakfast and refreshment.  The rooms are spacious, meticulously clean and beautifully adorned.

Should you wish to leave the serenity of the Riad (and I was happy to relax and enjoy the comfort, the small pool, the splended rooftop), they will assist you with further arrangements if needed and offer good advice on local bars and restaurants (and there are many within a short walk away).

Marrakech can take a little getting used to if you've only experienced European holidays - but this is an ideal place to experience it from.

Relaxing and serene

3 day break

Perfect situation in the medina in a very quiet area, authenticity with comfort and modernity, room was big and the bed very comfortable ! The breakfast on the rooftop is PERFECT with a beautiful view and all dishes you can dream ! The owners were so welcoming, helping, concerned by our wellness, our journey, our comfort.
Thank you Garry and Steve for these  wonderful 4 days, for sure, I will come back !

Another word for paradise

We loved everything about Riad Al-Bushra! Gary made the booking process so easy, and organised transport between the airport and the Riad; the location is perfect, right in the heart of the medina, close to shops, souks and restaurants yet it feels like an oasis of tranquility; Gary and Steve are perfect hosts, friendly and hospitable, always ready with information, recommendations and local knowledge, and happy to make bookings for us (and they're really good company too!); the Riad is beautiful, very well appointed and spotlessly clean with gorgeous colours, fabrics and details everywhere; Fatiha, the housekeeper, is charming and provides delicious and generous breakfasts.
We recommend Riad Al-Bushra without hesitation. We'd love to return.

A perfect oasis in Marrakech

We stayed for 3 days and this riad has been super peaceful and the perfect place to relax after the exciting and sometimes overwhelming Marrakesh. I can defintely recommend staying there. Everything was very clean, lovely decorated and breakfast was very good as well. And we really appreciated the personal touch. We got many very helpful tips about what to do and places to see. So we had a very lovely time 😊

wonderful stay

We were guests in this beautiful and charming Riad in January. The owners are the soul of the place!  The property is gorgeous! All the details were planned by Gary and Steve! Furniture, amenities, all the experience was amazing!

Al Bushra, special in all the ways!

Steve greeted us, made us feel welcome instantly, wonderful host.  Gary was away but we were fortunate enough to meet him on the morning we left.  Fatima is the lady who we met at breakfast, she cooks and cleans for them, and when I say the place is immaculate, I truly mean it (Steve and Gary are swift to let you know she’s a very important part of their team).  The food they serve you each morning is wonderful, fresh and plentiful with some amazing home made additions.  This Riad gives you comfort, with stunning decor, in a peaceful and calm atmosphere.  My daughter chose this three day trip to Marrakech as a birthday gift and she couldn’t have made a better choice!

Superb place to stay

We can absolutely recommend this riad to everyone who’s staying in Marrakech! Gary and Steve were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome and always taken care of!

Our flight arrived very late at night and they organized a driver who picked us up at the airport and took us to the city wall, where Gary personally met us and walked us to the riad.

The riad is beautifully equipped with very much attention to detail and an amazing roof terrace with a view. The rooms were very clean and we always felt comfortable! Breakfast was a delight with plenty of different options, from omelettes to traditional maroccan pancakes to pastries, fruits and homemade jam!

The location of the riad is more than perfect, situated in a calm little alley in the medina. We could reach all spots of interest by foot. Whenever we came back from our city trips, either Gary or Steve were there to welcome us back. It was the perfect oasis to recharge after the hustle in the souks.

Gary and Steve provided us with loads of precious tipps and insights about Marrakech which helped us a lot to navigate and decide what to see and do!
